A mega gospel crusade known as the “Miracle Gospel Celebration” has concluded in Shinyanga, drawing thousands of people from different parts of Tanzania for four days of worship, prayer, and evangelism.
The event, held from March 12 to March 15, 2026, was led by evangelist Dana Morey through the Christian ministry A Light to the Nations. Organizers described the gathering as a powerful move of God marked by salvation, testimonies, and spiritual renewal among attendees.
The final night of the crusade was described as a memorable moment as Evangelist Dana Morey delivered a sermon titled “Who Is Jesus?”. According to organizers, the message deeply touched the crowd, prompting thousands of people to respond to the call to faith and surrender their lives to Christ.
Many attendees were seen praying, worshipping, and making commitments to begin a new spiritual journey. Throughout the four-day event, participants reported various testimonies including physical healing, spiritual deliverance, and personal transformation.
During the third day of the crusade, the message focused on the theme that Jesus is knocking at the door of every heart, encouraging people to open their lives to Him. Many people responded to the message and came forward for prayer.
Organizers said several attendees testified that they experienced healing from illnesses and breakthroughs from long-standing personal struggles during the prayers.
On the second day, believers gathered for a teaching session focused on understanding their identity in Christ. The message encouraged participants to break free from guilt and shame and embrace the new life found in Jesus.
The teaching referenced the biblical passage from 2 Corinthians 5:17, which states that anyone who is in Christ becomes a new creation, leaving behind the old life and stepping into a renewed spiritual identity.
The session concluded with an intense time of prayer where many participants said they experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit, with some reporting spiritual renewal and empowerment.
Following the success of the Shinyanga crusade, organizers announced that the next evangelistic gathering will take place in Tabora.
They expressed excitement about continuing the mission of spreading the Gospel and invited believers and community members to attend the upcoming meetings.
Participants from the Shinyanga event have also been encouraged to share their testimonies and experiences from the crusade as a way of inspiring others and strengthening faith within the community.
