Renowned gospel artist Mahirwe Adeline, celebrated for her remarkable voice in top ADEPR choirs such as Sion (ADEPR Mahoko) and Shalom (ADEPR Nyarugenge), has released a new single titled “Ku Ngoma” — a song filled with hope, peace, and spiritual depth, portraying the joy and freedom found in living under the reign of Jesus Christ.
The song, released both in audio and video formats, delivers a deeply moving message about the new life that believers experience at the throne of Jesus. “Ku Ngoma” is Adeline’s fourth single and a significant step toward her much-anticipated debut album, expected to be launched by the end of 2025.
Speaking to Paradise, Mahirwe Adeline shared that the inspiration behind the song comes from a personal reflection on the value of Christ’s blood — a divine gift that offers life, peace, and eternal grace to those who believe.
“Before this song could touch others, it first ministered to me. I’m deeply passionate about singing the message of the Cross — it’s at the heart of our worth,” she said.
Adeline emphasized that “Ku Ngoma” is born out of her personal testimony. It’s a heartfelt expression of faith, and a call for others to discover the love of Christ. Through her lyrics, she echoes the eternal truth of redemption:
“At Your throne, Jesus, we found freedom, we found peace, we found joy. We were set free because You had a plan to save us, and You fulfilled it through Your death. I have nothing to offer You but worship and praise. At the Cross, You carried our pain — let me sing to You, Lord, for all You have done.”
These words highlight the artist’s intimate connection with her Redeemer, turning her voice into a vessel of gratitude — worship flowing from a place no payment can repay. The song anchors itself in the message of the Cross, a consistent theme in Adeline’s musical vision.
Her unwavering commitment to gospel truth resonates with her admiration for fellow gospel artist Bosco Nshuti, known for his powerful ministry centered on the message of the Cross. Mahirwe expressed her deep appreciation for Bosco’s work and revealed she is especially inspired by his upcoming concert, Unconditional Love Season II, scheduled for July 13, 2025.
“I truly resonate with artists like Bosco Nshuti because they are rooted in the message of salvation. That’s the heart of the music I want to make — not just beautiful melodies, but life-changing truth,” she added.
With “Ku Ngoma,” Mahirwe Adeline reminds listeners that gospel music is not about rhythm or vocal prowess alone, but about impactful, Gospel-centered content that draws hearts closer to God. Her songs are not mere performances but a ministry — a way to share the everlasting source of truth and peace.
Behind the Music
The audio production of “Ku Ngoma” was handled by Popeeh, while the video was directed by Sabey Gilbert — both widely respected for their work in gospel music production. Their collaboration reflects a growing trend of combining technical excellence with spiritual depth in Rwandan gospel music.
Adeline is actively working on more tracks that will complete her debut album. Her goal is to end 2025 by unveiling a full collection of songs that declare the power of the Cross and the unfailing love of Christ.
