We Want More Of Jesus In Comfort My People International - Pastor Willy Rumenera after a charity activity and Pastors Conference

Comfort My People Ministry visited Nyamata and Cyanika hospitals where it paid for patients who had failed to clear their hospital bills. Over 16 patients benefited from the funding; in addition to clearing bills, 30 vulnerable families also received mattresses.

Pastor Willy Rumenera told Paradise.rw that it was "Fantastic time after the Pastor’s Conference in Nyamata, we went to Nyamata Hospital and Paid 16 patient’s bills, for them to go home".

He added that "Four of them were Moms with newborn babies. One Mom has triplets and they’ve been at the hospital for 1 month...(Matthew 25:36). We Want More Of Jesus In Comfort My People International. It’s All About Jesus!".

This was done as part of the ministry’s journey of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

According to Pastor Willy Rumenera, Founder of Comfort My People Ministries and East Africa Director of Teen Challenge, the charity activity was carried out in accordance with what Jesus recommended to His disciples.

He quoted Mathew 26:35: “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

Beneficiaries included mothers who gave birth to new babies. Among them was a mother who gave birth to triplets, but had stayed at the hospital for one month because her family was not able to cater for the hospital bill.

The charity activity was conducted in partnership with pastor Walt Roberson and his wife Britt Roberson, who are the sponsors of Comfort My People Ministry.

According to Gospel Time, Rumenera explained that this activity followed a training of pastors that the ministry conducted for 200 participants in Bugesera, Gicumbi, Muhanga and Burera (Cyanika) districts.

Additionally, in April this year, ahead of the 29th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, the ministry chose to commemorate by offering foodstuff to over 30 families of genocide survivors in Nkingo cell, Kamonyi District, in the Southern Province of Rwanda.
