Day 2 of the Soroti crusade, Evangelist Dana Morey, who arrived by plane, continues to be used mightily by God
The powerful gospel crusade named Soroti Miracle Gospel Celebration began on October 9, 2025, in the city of Soroti, Uganda. It is organized by the international ministry A Light to the Nations (aLn Ministries Africa), led by American evangelist Dr. Dana Morey.
On the second day of the crusade, the momentum grew even stronger. Many attendees shared testimonies of miracles, including healings from various diseases, the blind receiving sight, and the lame beginning to walk.
According to a post on the ministry’s official Facebook page, “Many people were healed, among them were the blind, the physically disabled, and those suffering from eye and back problems, all were delivered.”
This second day was marked by clear manifestations of God’s power and an ever-increasing turnout as the hours passed. Those present described it as a night of joy and freedom, filled with the tangible presence of God.
These miracles were accompanied by powerful teachings centered on the message of hope. Evangelist Morey reminded the crowd that “God did not call us to walk in fear but in the freedom of walking with Him.” He reinforced the words of Jesus in John 8:36: “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
Before the first day of the crusade officially began, on October 9, 2025, the plane carrying Evangelist Dana Morey and his team had safely landed in Soroti.
The leadership of A Light to the Nations stated that the safe landing was seen as a sign that God was initiating a week of miracles. All technical equipment, including sound, lighting, and video broadcasting systems, had already been delivered to the crusade grounds.
The audience was reminded that the gospel message being delivered to the people of Eastern Uganda is rooted in the biblical prophecy that says, “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)
The crusade continues in Soroti until October 12, before moving on to Busia, where similar activities will be held from October 16–19, 2025. Residents of Uganda and beyond are invited to follow the sessions via A Light to the Nations’ YouTube and Facebook pages, where God’s power continues to be revealed.
Participants are offered a chance to win prizes such as bicycles, mobile phones, televisions, motorcycles, and more in a daily raffle held after the lunchtime session.
Dana Morey encourages the crowd to break free from the chains that hold them back, so they can receive the Good News.
He arrived by plane and was welcomed by local Ugandan pastors.
