Translated Lyrics in English of Vestine and Dorcas' Song 'Yebo (Nitawale)' Release

On March 5th, 2025, the renowned gospel musicians, Vestine and Dorcas, released their highly anticipated new song titled "Yebo (Nitawale)".

This marks their first release since Vestine’s marriage to her husband, Idrissa Ouedraogo, from Burkina Faso.
The song "Yebo (Nitawale)" /Yes Lead Me is inspired by the words from Isaiah 42:13, where God declares He will fight fiercely like a warrior in battle and bring victory with His powerful voice. It’s a song about strength, reliance on God, and unwavering faith in His protection.

As Irene Murindahabi, Vestine and Dorcas’s manager, shared the news with their fans, saying, "Yebo (Nitawale) is ready to be released very soon," it is out now already. In this song, the duo is seen wearing security guard uniforms, which holds significant meaning in the message of the song—symbolizing God’s protection and strength.

Song Lyrics with Translation in brackets "Yebo (Nitawale)"
Verse 1:
Mwokozi wangu nakuhitaji Zaidi
(My savior I need you more)
Na Moyo wangu unalilia uwepo wako
(And my heart cries for your presence)
Nimejaribu (I tried) on my own
lakini siwezi (but I failed)

Nakutegemea, usiniache kamwe
(I believe in you please don’t leave me)
Nikiwa Baba napumua
(As longer as I am breathing)
Jina lako ndilo nitajivunia
(Your name is the one, I will be proud of)
Tena sitaki kitu cha kunikataza chombo chako
(And I will not let anything stops me from being your vessel)

Sauti yako ikaniita
(When your voice calls me)
Vingine vyote mimi nakataa
(I forsake everything else)
Nifichie ndani ya mabawa yako
(Hide me into your wings)
Kufika mwisho wa safari
(Till the end of the journey)

Prechorus

Najua kwamba mimi ni wako
(I know that I am yours)
Unanipenda tena sana
(And you love me so much)
Nuru yako imenitoa gizani, sitaogopa kamwe
(Your light has brought me out of the darkness, I will never be afraid)

Chorus

Nitawale sasa
(Lead me now)
Hata milele bwana
(Till the eternity)
Overpower all of me the way you truly desire
Natamani kuongozwa na mkono wako wenye nguvu
(I need to be your mighty hand)
Breath your fresh Air into my heart
Amen-amen-amen
Yebo Yesu
(Yes Jesus)
Mimi na wewe
(Me and You)

Verse two:

Eh Mungu nitumikishe
(Eh God use me)
Katika faida za mbingu
(For the heaven’s interest)
Nisimamie vizuri ufalme wako ndani ya ulimwengu
(Then I stand well, in the name of your kingdom in the world)

Nijaze nguvu nipambane
(Strengthen me to fight)
Uzaifu wangu uwondoe
(My weakness be removed)
Ili nidharau mishale ya machungu adui anayonipiga.
(So that I disdain the arrows of bitterness the enemy hitting me)

Bridge:
Wao wanataja magari
(These put their trust in chariots)
Wengine wanataja mafarasi
(Others trust in horses)
Bali sisi tunalitaja ndilo jina la Mungu
(But us we are trusting that name of God)
