JBF its a Gospel Duo, that was called to take people out of the sea of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of God through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ! We solved it! As usual, Paradise.rw was the first to talk to this group from Burundi during their visit to Rwanda.
JBF is a band from Burundi that consists of four people. It is associated with musical activities and charity activities that include delivering and visiting the sick and prisoners and preaching the Word of God.
Paradise.rw spoke to Mr. Hicuburundi Guylain, one of the members of this group, who was sent by this group to Rwanda on a Purposive and Evangelical trip aimed at expanding the bounderies of music and building relationships with Rwandan artists.
The gentleman is calm and knows how to talk. In this interview, he told Paradise.rw, "I learned a lot about Rwanda and Rwandan artists during this trip."
Here are five things this group learned about Rwandan worship and praise music.
1. Media: This group was represented by Mr. Gylain who gave talks on radio and television in Rwanda. The talks focused on the origin and birth of this evangelistic group, their activities and their direction. Guylain even announced that he enjoys listening to Rwandan radio stations playing Burundian songs.
2. The rise of Gospel music in Rwanda: Guylain sees Gospel music in Rwanda that has built a strong empire in Rwanda and even in East Africa. Here he said that Rwandan music has reached a very good level, Rwandan singers sing songs that attract the hearts of Burundians.
3. They are happy that there is a minister like Gaby Kamanzi in Rwanda and they learned a lot: Guylain told Paradise that in Burundi Gaby Kamanzi’s songs have a place in the hearts of Gospel lovers. Coming to Rwanda where this minister was born, is a blessing because he has become more to know more about her and thus proves without doubt that Gaby is a role model and a teacher to learn a lot.
4. He was satisfied to see many young people saved. During his various trips around the world, he was surprised to see the level of the youth in the faith.
5. He was very surprised that he was well welcomed in the country of Rwanda; he was surprised by the way the Rwandan media received him well. This group. Moreover, he became more aware that the songs of this group are popular with Rwandans.
