After leaving the Kenyan media writing more about his fame, Israel Mbonyi headed to Uganda where he is going to perform a special concert to worship and praise God.
Since he arrived in Kenya and performed, due to the love shown to him, the local newspapers wrote many stories about him, as neighboring countries continued to write about him, and this is going to happen in Uganda, because this artist Israel Mbonyi will perform there on the 23rd and 25th of August 2024, after the time they eagerly awaited him.
When Israel Mbonyi performed in Kenya from Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Ulinzi Sport Stadium in Nairobi, Kenyans welcomed and appreciated him, because they had been waiting for him for a long time.
This performance in Kenya made the Ugandans who had a promise that he will also perform there, they started counting the days on their fingers preparing for him. With less than 2 weeks to go, Israel Mbonyi on August 15, 2024 reminded them again that he is ready for the concert.
In a medley of his various songs including Nina Siri, Yeriko and others, he addressed Ugandans: “How are you Ugandans? This is Israel Mbonyi. I have good news that on the 23rd and 25th I will be in your beautiful country. Tell your friends, your families and all those you love to come and join us in worshiping and praising God concert."
Israel Mbonyi has recently released a number of Swahili songs including Heri Taifa which is his latest releases, Yeriko and Yanitosha. Not only that, even before that he had songs in Swahili that made him known, be it the new ones he made like Nina Siri, Nitaamini, Sikiliza, and those he translated and interpreted in Swahili from Kinyarwanda such as Malengo ya Mungu, Amenisameheme and others.
However, some Ugandans who are able to understand Kinyarwanda, must have recognized him from songs including Baho, Icyambu, Mbwira and others. On the 23rd he will perform in Kampala, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, and on the 25th he will not perform at Mbarara University Inn Grounds.
