When he campaigned in Rusizi for the position of Head of State, the RPF Inkotanyi candidate, Paul Kagame, told the more than 200 thousand residents of Rusizi, especially the youth, that they should protect the achievements and prioritize security.
It is this Friday, June 28, 2024, which is the 6th day of campaigning for the candidates who would compete to be the President of the Republic of Rwanda, from June 22, 2024.
According to what he said, the unity of Rwandans is one of the factors that made such security possible. In the words of the RPF candidate who is currently the President of the Republic, Paul Kagame, he said: "I thank you very much because the security in which you play a big role is in our hands together."
He went on to say that those who want to disrupt it have no way. Paul Kagame said: “For our security, there is absolutely no place for anyone to break through. Those who want to disrupt security also know that they have nowhere to go, that’s why all they have is to wish us bad.
He said that the unity they have had since the end of the Genocide has shown that nothing else will fail. "You are really Inkotanyi. Where we left off, our history has not been good, but now the RPF bring cooperation with others, all Rwandans, all political groups and we are together, it shows that there is no defeat. So where we are from is far, where we are going is also far, we have achieved a lot, there is a lot we want to achieve. We will make it without a doubt.”
As the youth have a better future than the elderly, Paul Kagame asked them to use double the energy that others have used, and strive for the achievements to increase instead of destabilizing. He said: "So, our young children, look back a little, and know that where Rwanda came from and where it is now, you have a double responsibility, to continue to build on what has already been achieved, as quickly as possible, but avoid what destroys."
If Paul Kagame wins this election for the Head of the Nation, it will be the fourth time he has done so, that is, in 2003, 2010, 2017 and this one in 2024. The election will be held on July 14 and 15, 2024.
