After this Community they officially launched a water tap which was built for the Community attendants with a value of 20,000,000 Frw. The Senior Pastor of City Light Foursquare Church, Bishop Prof. Dr. Fidele Masengo took the time to remind the people to take good care of this tap and teach them the importance of water for their lives.

He reminded them that they should keep in mind that this water they were given is water that is beneficial for the body, and told them that there is another source of pure water which is Christ. After this evangelical message to them, about 20 people repented of their sins in 2 stages and accepted Christ as king and savior.

All those who took the floor thanked the City Light Foursquare Church for doing a good job of bringing clean water to the residents of the area, as this area is usually known for lack of water, especially during the Spring.

Talking to the media, the Executive Secretary of the Runda Sector expressed his gratitude to the City Light Foursquare Church for providing clean water to the residents of the sector he manages.

He said: "In the plans of the Government of Rwanda, all citizens should have access to clean water. This part (of Rubumba-Kamuhanda) is in the areas that had not yet experienced clean water, so we still had obstacles".

Regarding the interaction between private government agencies and religions and churches in development activities, he said: "In fact, the Bible says that a living soul resides in a living body, and the people we lead are Christians religions and churches, and we, the leaders, are Christians.”

He also managed to sensitize the people to avoid damaging this water tap. He said that the administration will continue to maintain this water tap and thanked the people who participated in Community Work and it was seen that they liked it.

A resident named Shadrack Ukwizagira from Rubumba Village who has been living in this area for three years and is one of the recipients of salvation today, thanked the management of this church for bringing water to them because it was a great struggle to get it.

He said that they used to travel many kilometers to get water at Bishenyi. He asked this church to establish a branch in this area so that they can get closer to God. He said that after receiving salvation, he wants to get away from the bad people he used to hang out with, including drug addicts, and pray more so that he won’t go back.

Bishop Prof Dr. Fidele Masengo, Senior Pastor of City Light Foursquare, said that the operation to bring clean water to the area was done after realizing that the area has a problem of lack of clean water.

He said that this project required a lot of effort mainly due to the fact that the water came from a great depth. It is a project that cost 20 million Rwandan francs, which is the money used to rent used cars, to buy tanks, warehouses, to pay employees and so on.

He said that the church cooperates with its partners in continuing to provide infrastructure to the people in collaboration with the private sector of the government. He was able to announce that this project of providing clean water to the people will continue in other different areas.
