It happened in the famous area of Dubai, ‘Marina’, on September 29, 2024. The girl was given gifts and advice that she will use in her home with her boyfriend to be her husband Michael Tesfay.

It was an event attended by her close friends especially family members who live through the Mackenzies and others. Nishimwe recently released an invitations revealing that she will marry her boyfriend, in a ceremony that will take place on December 29, 2024.

Their wedding ceremony is based on the words found in Mark 10:8-9 which says "They will become one flesh, so that they will no longer be two but will become one flesh. So what God has joined together, let no one separate."

The ceremonies before marriage (dowry giving and proposal) will be held at the Intare Conference Arena where the reception ceremony will take place, while the engagement before God will take place at the Noble Family Church of Apostre Mignone at Kimihurura.

They will get married on December 29, 2024, while there will be two (2) days left before the end of the year, because this year will have 366 days. It will also be on the 52nd week.

In February 2024, Miss Nishimwe told Radio Rwanda that she does not have words to describe how she feels after getting a proposal (fiancée) ring saying ‘I will never forget it. But I don’t know how to explain’. It was on January 1, 2024.
