Rwanda is soon to host "East Africa Teen Challenge Staff Training" that will take place on November 4th-5th, 2022 in Kigali at A.E.E Guest House.
Wayne Gray, Teen Challenge of Oklahoma President & CEO, is among the Teen Challenge’s top leaders who will attend this Training.
Other leaders to attend this staff training are: Michael Lokey, Executive Director adolescent centers of Teen challenge Oklahoma; Greg Keylon, President of Living Free; and Pastor Willy Rumenera, Teen challenge East Africa Regional Director (Host).
Who is Wayne Gray?
Wayne was first introduced to Teen Challenge when he was attending college in Memphis, Tenn. Two Teen Challenge employees handed him a Bible tract and shared about Jesus Christ. Six months later he invited Christ to be his Lord and Savior and his life took a dramatic turn.
Wayne has been a part of Teen Challenge for more than 30 years. In that time, he has worked in every capacity:
Wayne served as counselor and teacher in the Memphis area. He was the Executive Director of a 120 bed facility in Central Florida for 15 years. Currently he serves as the President and CEO of Oklahoma Teen Challenge where he oversees 7 programs with a total of 350 beds.
Recently, Oklahoma Teen Challenge opened a program inside the largest prison in Oklahoma. It is the third one of its kind in the world. Wayne also is a faculty member of Living Free and does facilitator trainings throughout Oklahoma and in other countries.
Wayne is an Assemblies of God ordained minister, Certified Addiction Professional and a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Evangelism.
Wayne has been married to his wife Mischa since 1990 and they have two adult sons.
