For the 12th time, the Women Foundation Ministries led by Apostle Mignonne Kabera, officially launched the four-day annual gathering called "All Women Together" which is expected to empower women both spiritually and physically.
It is a gathering that started on Tuesday, the 6th, and will end on the 9th of August 2024, where it has a theme that returns to people who were poor but who have now become winners.
On the first day of the gathering led by Queen Kalimpinya together with Claire Kamanzi, a lot of time was given to worship God with the help of different choirs, but also various teachings were introduced, and a game was played that clearly reflects the vision of Apostle Mignonne Kabera which resulted in the Women Foundation Ministries Church foundations, which she is leading today.
In this game played by women and girls who usually gather in this church, one of them played as Apostle Mignonne Kabera who was called by God and at first wondered how she would help others without help but the Angel of God came and gave her a staff that gave him authority and power to help women and girls in different ways.
Among the participants of this gathering, there are leaders in the public sector, pastors of different churches working in Rwanda and abroad, Rev Dr Pastor Antoine Rutayisire and his assistant and others.
In her speech, Apostle Mignonne asked those present to thank God for giving Rwanda a good leader who is going to lead Rwandans again in the next five years. She emphasized that she can do the job she was called to because she is in a country that supports women.
She thanked her husband Eric Kabera for supporting her in her calling, pointing out that there are many professional women out there but they find that because of bad marriages they are always insecure.
After a very long period of worship and praise to God in a way that helped everyone who attended this gathering to get closer to God, different women and girls gave testimony of where God took them. One of them is a well-known international model named Anipha Umufite.
She said: "Because of the work I do, it requires me to travel a lot, I travel a lot, but the more I travel, the more I love Christ. You know when a person moves a lot, there are things she loses, but in all the things I leave, I do not leave Christ."
The one who taught the word of God in this gathering, is Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, the founder and director of Kingsway International Christian Center (KICC), who also has more than 10 great churches in Nigeria.
About 1,286 people participated in this gathering from outside of Rwanda, they came from different countries in the world such as the United States of America (USA), Great Britain, Poland, Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon, United Arab States, DR Congo, Burundi, Canada, Ethiopia, Belgium, Sweden, Germany;
China, Italy, Mozambique, Australia, Congo Brazzaville, Malawi, Mali, Senegal, Zambia, Austria, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Japan, Nigeria, Russia, Togo and other countries. Those from these countries are accommodated in Kigali by Women Foundation Ministries in four hotels even though they cannot afford to stay.
The All Women Together Conference was launched in 2011 and is seen as a gathering that has brought changes in the lives of many, especially women. It is planned that apart from worshiping God as the main activity, this gathering will include testimony, help, etc. These activities help to build a society where women are included, such as building schools, courage and building stable families.
It is expected that this gathering will be held in BK Arena, and it will be attended by women only in the first three days, on the fourth day, men will also be allowed to participate. Women Foundation Ministries is a Christian organization established by Apostle Alice Mignonne Kabera in 2006 that builds men and women in the ways of salvation, in hearts and in practical ways.
