Believers in Uganda experienced remarkable moments with A Light to the Nations (aLN) as they prayed for the upcoming conferences scheduled between October 9 and 19, 2025, to be held in the Soroti and Busia regions.
On August 24, 2025, a historic day, believers gathered in a prayer meeting to intercede for the planned evangelistic outreach, seeking God’s guidance in all their steps and praying that the conferences would become a source of transformation in many lives.
As they moved from one church to another, they encouraged congregations to unite their efforts, becoming one church that prays together and works together in God’s ministry, so that this evangelism could be a fountain of hope and bring salvation to many hearts.
Through the activities of A Light to the Nations, particularly led by Evangelist Dana Richard Morey, the ministry continues outreach programs reaching out to people in underprivileged areas with the Word of God.
ALN posted on their Facebook page: “It is precious to see people coming in groups, sometimes individually or in pairs, joining hands, sitting on stones, in fields, and wherever possible, ready to hear the Good News with a peaceful heart. It is a beautiful picture reflecting people’s thirst to receive God’s Word.”
This marks the third location where such conferences have been held in Eastern Uganda, and the ministry continues to thrive, as the results clearly demonstrate God’s work. The Bible is filled with directives to go and deliver the Good News to those who need it.
ALN reminded participants of the verse in Matthew 28:19, saying: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” and other verses: “Go and proclaim the message to the whole world”; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you”; “and you will be my witnesses”; as well as “How will they hear without anyone having told them?”
Key Dates: Soroti Conferences: from October 9–12, 2025, and Busia Conferences: from October 16–19, 2025.
