Just one year after their first tour, Papi Clever and Dorcas have been invited back to the United States of America for major concerts across different states.
They have recently been announcing to their fans a new series of concerts called “Papi Clever & Dorcas USA Tour.” These shows, organized by The Power of Hope, will take place in Dallas Fort Worth on September 20, 2025; in Austin on September 21, 2025; and conclude in Phoenix, Arizona on October 5, 2025.
There are also other concerts where they were invited by different organizers, such as in Seattle, Washington on September 27, 2025, by Angaza Africa, and in Indianapolis on October 19, 2025, organized by Life Way Ind FMC. All these invitations came because of their massive popularity in the U.S.
The Power of Hope, which invited them to three major concerts, is made up of Emmanuel Hakizimana and Emmanuel Semuhiga, who are known for organizing gospel concerts.
They were behind the concerts of Meddy and Adrien Misigaro in Portland, Maine on September 29, 2024, as well as James and Daniella’s concert this year. They also organized Alexis Nkomezi’s concert in October 2024.
“We have a plan to continue organizing more gospel concerts here in Maine and across other U.S. states as we spread the good news of Jesus!” they said.
In an interview with media, Emmanuel Hakizimana explained why they invited Papi Clever and Dorcas again: “They are loved by all generations—young and old—especially because they sing many hymns from the book, which deeply touch people.”
He added that this decision came from the repeated requests of gospel fans in America: “We invited them because people kept asking us to, due to how much they love them. When we asked the couple, they accepted without hesitation.”
According to Hakizimana, audiences should expect to be spiritually uplifted: “People should expect refreshed hearts and great joy through worship and praise, which they do so beautifully.”
In Dallas Fort Worth, Papi Clever and Dorcas will perform alongside Alexis Nkomezi of Gisubizo Ministries, Deborah from True Promises (Diane Nyirashimwe), and Eric also from Gisubizo Ministries.
Hakizimana further explained that in Austin, they will be joined again by Nkomezi Alexis and the large local branch of Gisubizo Ministries.
Papi Clever and Dorcas first performed in the U.S. in 2024, beginning in Boston, Massachusetts in September, before also visiting other churches in Oregon, Michigan, and Ohio, where they met Rwandan, Kenyan, and Congolese communities.
Papi Clever recalled how moved they were by the warm welcome: “We were surprised by how people received us and how much they love what we do. It was extraordinary for us. We even saw people accepting Christ through our songs, and we are grateful to God for that.”
Tuyizere Pierre Claver (Papi Clever) and his wife Ingabire Dorcas have been singing together since their wedding in 2019, now six years ago. Their group, Papi Clever & Dorcas, is beloved both in Rwanda and abroad.
Papi Clever began music in 2014 after two years of study at Kigali Music School. He sang in choirs like Hyssop Choir and Ntora Worship Team. Dorcas sang in Goshen Choir (ADEPR Muhoza in Musanze) and currently contributes to Hoziyana Choir (ADEPR Nyarugenge).
The couple is known for their unique style of singing hymns while also composing original songs, which has given them great popularity. After their U.S. ministry tour, they also performed in Europe.
Their Swahili song “Ameniweka Huru Kweli” (from hymn book Nyimbo za wokovu, number 40) has opened doors across East Africa and has already reached over 52 million views on YouTube.
Their concerts are expected to spiritually uplift people and bring them joy as they worship and praise God.
