The wife of the artist, Ngabo Medard Jobert known as Meddy, Mimi Mehfira, was baptized in a lot of water, testifying that her life was incomplete without Jesus Christ.
Mimi announced this in a message explaining the video she shared with her followers on Instagram on September 9, 2024, when she showed that she was full of joy after accepting Christ in her life and testifying that her life was not complete without Christ in it.
She said: "Jesus is the one I was missing in my life, many people live without knowing what they are made of. When it is so, we don’t realize that we are chasing something that is good for us (Salvation), the truth I came to know is that we cannot understand life with ignoring its source. We were not created to be treated by anyone other than the One who made us alive and gave us the breath of life.”
Mimi went on to explain that many of the saved and the unsaved are afraid to face the trials or battles they can go through but she said that God praised that by reading the Holy Scriptures no one will be afraid of anything he will face because he understands what the Word of God says about it.
She said, "In our problems, we are given strength, because God has given us the Holy Scriptures so that if we read them, they will prepare us to know how to behave in all our situations. All I can say is one thing: my God is trustworthy in all his ways. I am blessed by faith in him whose peace is eternal and give me that peace by his grace, now I am complete and I lack nothing."
Mimi affirmed that she is now freed from the slavery of the world because she is now for Christ and not for herself as it is written in the book of Galatians 2:20 "I am bound by Christ but I am, yet it is not I who am, but Christ who is in me" I, all that I do while I am in the body, I do it by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me."
Mimi decides to receive salvation after her husband Meddy announced that he received salvation and will no longer sing songs that are not meant to worship and praise God and continue to preach the gospel.
