In his speech, the candidate of the RPF Inkotanyi Paul Kagame delivered to the people of Rubavu District, he told them that he came to greet them and to join them in their journey.
When he returned to the history of the RPF Inkotanyi, he said that the RPF gave all to Rwandans. He said, "Returning to the history of the RPF, as it was once sung, it gave all to all of us. The meaning of cows is progress, the one who gives it to you loves you, the one who gives it to you wants you to progress, that is the symbol of cattle in Rwandan culture."
Paul Kagame continued saying: "You know that in the past years the cows used to be rare in Rwanda but the RPF took them back and distribute them to all of us, so the one who distributed the cows to you, return the love that the one who distributed the cows has given you. So, voting the RPF Candidate means to return the love you have given".
Some representatives of political parties that agreed to join the RPF Inkotanyi had come to join Kagame Paul’s propaganda. Some representatives of political groups that agreed to join the RPF Inkotanyi had come to join Kagame Paul’s campaign.
President Kagame also thanked the political parties that agreed to join the RPF in the march and called their leaders and showed them to the participants of the campaign event that was held in the Rugerero Sector at the Gisa site.
The people of Rubavu District composed a song for the President of the Republic in which they sing "Ndandambara Yantera Ubwoba (No war scares me), who protected Kagame shall protect me", which was most popular when he was campaigning for the leadership of the country in 2017.
Paul Kagame told the people of Rubavu and others who came from border areas that he loves them as they love him and that he wants them to always develop. Campaigning for the position of President and Deputies began on Saturday, June 22, 2024, and the elections are scheduled for July 14-15, 2024.
