In a remarkable show of support within the gospel community, Apostle Alice Mignonne Kabera made a generous donation of 5 million Rwandan francs during gospel artist Jesca Mucyowera’s first major concert, “Restoring Worship Experience,” held at Camp Kigali.
The event brought together some of Rwanda’s most celebrated worship teams, including Alarm Ministries and True Promises Ministries, and served as a platform for Jesca to unveil her two debut albums, “Yesu Arashoboye” and “Imana Ikomeye.”
Apostle Mignonne, who preached at the concert, shared a powerful message from Psalm 137:1-4, reminding believers that even in times of hardship, like the Israelites in Babylonian exile, true strength and restoration are found only in Jesus Christ. She emphasized that “when you have a genuine encounter with Jesus, renewal and empowerment follow.”
Her act of giving 5 million Rwandan francs went beyond a financial gesture, it symbolized spiritual solidarity and mentorship among women of faith. For influential gospel leaders like Apostle Mignonne, such generosity demonstrates that ministry extends beyond the pulpit; it’s about empowering others to carry the same message of hope and worship through their own callings.
The offering not only encouraged Jesca but also inspired many in attendance to see unity and generosity as vital parts of gospel ministry. Apostle Mignonne’s action reflected the biblical principle found in Galatians 6:6, which says, “Let the one who receives instruction in the word share all good things with their instructor.”
By supporting Jesca’s ministry in such a tangible way, Apostle Mignonne reminded the gospel community that investing in others’ callings strengthens the entire body of Christ. Her example challenges other church leaders and believers to stand with emerging gospel artists, not only in words and prayers but also through real, practical support that advances God’s Kingdom.
Apostle Alice Mignonne Kabera is the founder and senior pastor of Noble Family Church in Kigali, Rwanda, and the visionary behind Women Foundation Ministries, an organization dedicated to empowering women and promoting spiritual and social transformation.
