The secret to enjoying the position God has placed you in – Pastor Christian Gisanura

On this 26th of March 2026, Pastor Christian Gisanura, using the Bible, preached on the theme of enjoying the position God has given to every person, the privilege of being His child.

Pastor Christian Gisanura focused on the secret that each individual can use to be satisfied with being a child of God.

In everyday life, many people are constantly searching for a better place or striving to reach another level they believe holds true happiness. However, there is a profound secret that many do not realize: enjoying the position God has placed you in is not by chance, but the result of your relationship with Him.

When a person understands who they are in the eyes of God and why they are where they are, they begin to see that wherever they are can become a place of joy.

This secret begins with the greatest commandment that Jesus left us. In Mark 12:30 it is written: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

This love is not just in words, but a complete life of surrender to God in every aspect. When a person truly loves God, they begin to realize that God is with them wherever they are, and their position is no longer a burden but becomes a blessing.

When you love God with all your heart, your heart is transformed from doubt and anxiety into peace and confidence. The heart is the source of emotions, it is where we feel love, pain, desire, or discouragement. But when your heart is deeply connected to God, guided by His love, you are no longer weak in the face of challenges.

Instead, you gain the strength to say “no” when necessary, even when your heart feels like saying “yes.”

Jesus also reminded us of another great commandment in Mark 12:31: “The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” This shows that a fulfilled life is not only about self-interest, but also about the love we extend to others.

When a person loves others, they begin to recognize the value of their life and the position they are in, realizing that they are instruments of God in helping and transforming the lives of others.

The challenges of this world can come and distract us, making us forget who we are and where we belong. There are “laws” of the world that tell us we are incapable, unworthy, or not at the level of others. But these are not the principles that govern the life of a believer.

One who follows the commandments of love—loving God and loving others—rises above all these obstacles because they walk in truth. That is why it is said that such a person cannot be overcome even by death, for they live in the life that comes from God.

Within a person’s soul lies wisdom and the ability to make decisions. Education, skills, and talents all gain true value when they are used to glorify God. The position you are in is not meaningless; it is an opportunity given by God to be used well. Your finances, your beauty, your talents—all should be used in a way that reflects your love for God, not out of compulsion, but because you love Him and He loves you.

Another important truth is that God calls us to love Him not just for what He does for us, but because He is our Creator, who has cared for us even from our mother’s womb. When a person reaches this level, they no longer ask God for everything as if He does not already know their needs. Instead, they live in the confidence that their Father knows exactly what they need. Just as a parent cares for a child without being asked for everything, so does God care for those who love Him.

In concluding today’s teaching, Pastor Christian Gisanura emphasized that the secret to enjoying the position God has placed you in is living a life of complete love—loving God with all your heart and loving others as yourself.

As Pastor Christian Gisanura concluded, this is what makes wherever you are a good place, because God is with you. When you live this way, your life is no longer controlled by the troubles of the world, but is guided by the greatest commandments, which bring peace, joy, and lasting blessing.
