Your finances, your beauty, your talents—all should be used in a way that reflects your love for God, not out of compulsion, but because you love Him and He loves you.

Another important truth is that God calls us to love Him not just for what He does for us, but because He is our Creator, who has cared for us even from our mother’s womb. When a person reaches this level, they no longer ask God for everything as if He does not already know their needs. Instead, they live in the confidence that their Father knows exactly what they need. Just as a parent cares for a child without being asked for everything, so does God care for those who love Him.
