Most of the churches around the world are experiencing an extraordinary decline in their followers due to various reasons, only if you talk to some of those followers they tell you that they were shocked by what they saw in the church including the leaders who are only waiting to share the money from the followers, and do it hidden behind God’s dominant word and prophecy.
In different times and in Rwanda, there has been chaos of pastors fighting for offerings in churches, which has led to the arrest of those who are responsible for the abuse of money given by members of those churches.
For example, in 2017, the news spread in the Rwandan media that there were three leaders of the Pentecostal Church in Rwanda (ADEPR), who were arrested by the National Police and prosecuted for mismanagement of its assets.
In order to convey their message, this newspaper they made a short documentary that shows the examples of people who call themselves confirming that they eat the offerings, that they can’t survive without eating it.
