Raïssa Vanessa Uwase, who was the second runner-up in the Miss Rwanda 2015 pageant, started a new life in her relationship with God, because she was now baptized in water, in the Zion Temple Church in Gahanga in the city of Kigali.
This girl, who is very popular on social media and in the media, said that she was baptized on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in a ceremony held in Gahanga at Sanitari.
She said that she decided to be baptized saying: "It is because it is something I have wanted for a while, because I wanted to give myself to Jesus as king and savior". She says that getting baptized was one of the best decisions she made in her life.
She continued to say that she had the idea to be baptized, she discussed it with her friend, Dylan R. Ngenzi and they started the journey of learning to be baptized. "We talked about it, we started the journey," she said.
Miss Uwase participated in the Miss Rwanda pageant in 2015. Since then, she has not been absent from the media, especially from love stories. She recently ventured into the makeup industry, launching a company called ’Her Majesty’.
In promoting her activities, she uses Naomie Nishimwe who became Miss Rwanda 2020, Divine Nshuti Muheto who became Miss Rwanda 2022, Darina Kayumba who became the second runner-up of Miss Rwanda 2022 and others.
