This festival will bring together those of all religions and churches, leaders of high government institutions, public and private employees and anyone else who will be interested, as entry will be free for everyone, it will be held at the Amahoro Stadium on September 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM, while doors will be open from 9:00 AM.

Rwanda Shima Imana is a great festival that is going to be held in Rwanda in order to praise God for the many things he has done for Rwanda. Its coordinator, Amb. Dr. Charles Murigande said that if you look carefully at where Rwanda was in 1994, there was no hope of peace again based on many reasons that came from the atrocities (Genocide) committed in Rwanda.

In an interview with the media, he said: “God helped us from there to where we are, we have made great strides even though we have not reached where anyone would like."

He returned to Paul Kagame, saying that he is a good leader, and that he should be praised, saying: "If we don’t have a leader like His Excellency the President of the Republic, a leader who loves Rwandans, I had the opportunity to work with him, I became Minister, [...] He is a leader who is not afraid to face problems.”

He continued: "So among the things we thank God for, we would be grateful that he gave us such a leader. I say this as someone who worked with him, I saw him in difficult times."

Amb. Dr. Murigande, isi in retirement nowadays. He has done various jobs including being the General Secretary of the RPF-Inkotanyi Organization, representing Rwanda in other countries (Ambassador) and managing various Ministries.

Rwanda Shima Imana Festival is a great event with special value because it will be following the presidential election that was held in peace and freedom, emphasizing another step that Rwanda has taken in the process of rebuilding itself.

This festival, which is going to be held after 5 years, is a great opportunity for Rwandans to gather together and thank God "for the many good things the Country has achieved in the last 30 years after the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994".

PEACE PLAN RWANDA organized this festival which many are very curious about, is a Christian Community that unites Christian churches. They expressed that they organized this year’s festival to celebrate the good things God has done for Rwandans because "2024 marks 30 years of peace and extraordinary development in Rwanda".

Rwanda Shima Imana 2024 was organized in collaboration with PEACE PLAN and Rwanda Leaders Fellowship. Amb. Dr. Charles Murigande is its Coordinator. PEACE PLAN RWANDA which organizes this festival, was founded by a friend of Rwanda, Pastor Rick Warren, who leads the Saddleback Church in the United States.

The Coordinators of Rwanda Shima Imana invites everyone to participate in this event to thank God at the national level. Entry to the event will be free, and "we encourage all members of the public to attend to join us in this worthwhile event".
