Rev Isaie Baho held a great crusade in Mahama camp, more than 10,000 received salvation

The three-day crusade titled "Mahama Revival and Miracles" held at the Mahama Camp, yielded great results as over 10,000 received salvation.

This crusade of Revival and Miracles is organized by Baho Global Mission and is led by Rev. Isaie Baho, which started on Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28, 2024, takes place in the Congolese and Burundian refugee camp located in Mahama in Kirehe District.

It is the first time in Mahama that a crusade of this level has taken place. It was characterized by great participation as more than 20 thousand people showed great thirst to hear the word of God and to meet the artists, thus leaving their belongings to participate. Many were spiritually helped and more than 10,000 received salvation.

On the first day of the crusade, there was a football match between the two biggest teams in the Mahama camp, Eagle Vert and Force Nouvelle. It ended with Eagle Vert winning Force Nouvelle two goals to one, winning the trophy and receiving the footballs and the prize money, even though it was the second team that was not picked up.

The participants of this crusade praised God in the songs of Thacien Titus who was accompanied by his wife Christine Mukamana, who was greatly appreciated in the song "Mpisha mu Mababa", and Theo Bosebabireba who was shown a lot of love because hesang his song with participants ward to word.

His songs are written on the pillars of their hearts! There were those who carried posters saying that they love Theo Bosebabireba, things that touched the heart of this artist, he took one of them and took it to his home in Kigali. The car that took all the spectators to the crusade place, all those passing by showed that they were excited to see him, saying ’I see Theo’; ’Theo Theo’.

The last day of this crusade was a success because they were very happy with him. In Mahama’s camp they like to see Theo Bosebabireba. It was at that time that he gave them a lot of joy because he comforted their hearts because the refugees who are staying in this camp have left their homes and are going to be refugees in Rwanda, it is understandable that they need to be comforted!

As it turned out, Theo Bosebebabi did not disappoint. He sang for them the most famous songs "Kubita Utababarira" in which he sings "Trials are in the world, injustice is in the world, god eliminate them cruelly. They sang it, and the dust rose.

The participants were also blessed with the Word of God delivered by the most popular servants of God, Bishop Joseph Mugasa, Pastor Michel Zigirinshuti and Rev Isaie Baho & Francine. Rev. Isaie Baho said in a prophetic prayer, "From now on, receive peace of mind, receive joy, joy, darkness flee, light shine."

In an interview with the media, Rev. Isaie Baho praised God for enabling him to attend this first crusade on his own because in the past years he was collaborating with American evangelists. He said that all his expectations from the three-day crusade from Friday to Sunday were achieved.

He said that about 11 thousand received salvation. He said, "It is difficult to know the exact number, but from the first day of the football, more than two thousand people raised their hands, on the second day, more than a thousand, on the third day, more than five thousand. But those who were able to attend and receive pamphlets are eight thousand."

Rev. Isaie Baho praised God who "enabled us", all the groups who cooperated with the Ministry of Relief Activities (MINEMA) for allowing them to hold crusades. He thanked the security forces and the people of Mahama, especially those in the camp. He said, "We ask that the result will not be left behind but will be a continuous success".

He said, "We asked people who have different churches to care about these people because some need help/counseling. Like a person who has something addicted him, he needs helpers around him. We asked them to register so that their pastors can help them, advise them, pray for them, encourage them, until they too help others, we hope it will be achieved".

The Chairman of Mahama Camp Committee, Rev Pastor Jean Bosco Ukwibishatse, thanked Rev Isaie Baho for his dedication and organized a great crusade in Mahama camp, many of whom were healed spiritually. He asked other servants of God to think about evangelism outside the church because there are many people need the Word of God.

He said that the crusade was "very interesting" as it started with a community work attended by various churches working in the camp. He was also satisfied with the sermons given to young people and couples so that the crusade ended "with happy people". "People in the camp are happy," he said.

The "Mahama Revival Miracle Crusade" was organized by the evangelical organization ’Baho Global Mission’ in collaboration with religions and churches in Mahama Sector, Kirehe District, in the Province of the East. It will be followed by another crusade in Uganda.

Rev Isaie Baho, who organized this crusade, is known for organizing meetings attended by thousands of people, and works closely with A Light to the Nations [ALN] which organizes such crusades around the world. Apart from that, he is a singer known for the songs "Ni nde Uhwanye nawe", "Ibendea", "amasezerano", "Igwe" and others.

Live Global Mission of Rev. Isaie sustainable in planning large crusades. An example is the gathering called ’Gisenyi Miracle Festival’ which took place in Rubavu on October 15, 2017. It featured Israel Mbonyi, Theo Bosebabireba, Aime Uwimana, Gaby Kamanzi, Stella Manishimwe, Guy Badibanga, Venuste Mugabo, Liliane Kabaganza and Christine Shusho.
