The inspiration for "Remind Me" came from an old melody, "Mana nubona ntangiye ku byibagirwa, Mana uzanyibutse," which struck See Muzik deeply during a prayer session on January 22, 2022. This melody reminded See Muzik of the ease with which we can forget our journey and lose our sense of direction. A spontaneous TikTok video of this melody resonated with him, eventually leading to the creation of this original song.

Drawing from my personal story, "Remind Me" highlights how easily we forget the blessings we’ve received once our prayers are answered. The song resonates with the Israelites’ experience in Exodus 16:2-3, where they regretted leaving Egypt despite God’s miraculous deliverance. Similarly, a Rwandan proverb, "Utazi iyo ava, ntamenya niyo ajya," emphasizes the importance of remembering our origins to understand our direction.

"Remind Me" is more than a song; it is a prayer to be mindful of our past and God’s goodness, encouraging us to live intentionally according to His calling. It speaks to our struggles with sin and backsliding, urging us to remember Christ’s sacrifice and be motivated by His love to pursue a Godly lifestyle.

Patrick Cyuzuzo, widely recognized by his stage name SEE Muzik, is an acclaimed Christian/Gospel Contemporary music artist hailing from the heart of Africa, Rwanda.

SEE’s profound connection with music took root during his formative years, ultimately flourishing into a remarkable career. From a tender age of six, he graced the stage of his Sunday school choir, leaving an indelible impression on the local church community.

Early exposure to the limelight proved instrumental in shaping SEE’s musical odyssey, a journey that unfolded alongside his involvement in local traditional dance groups. His youthful forays equipped him with the necessary stage presence and the art of engaging with the public.

This name carries profound symbolism, having emerged during a series of eye treatments when a doctor delivered the unsettling news that SEE might lose his vision with no available cure. Despite this daunting prognosis, SEE’s unwavering faith in God guided him through the adversity, solidifying his belief in a higher purpose that transcends individual existence.

In a world where depression and anxiety afflict young adults more than ever, SEE Muzik has dedicated himself to the transformation of youth, mental health advocacy, and the nurturing of a Christ-centered generation.
