Though relatively new to the gospel music scene, having started her solo career in 2024, Angel is no stranger to church music, having grown up singing in church choirs. In an exclusive interview with Paradise, she shared insights about her musical journey and her passion for ministry through music.

From Choir Singer to Solo Artist
Angel explains that her foundation in music was built through participation in church choirs from a young age. However, her official debut as an independent artist came in 2024, when she decided to pursue music professionally.

So far, she has released two singles:
• Uruwo Kwizerwa (“That Trust”)
• Ubuntu Bwe (“His Grace”)
Currently, she is promoting “Ubuntu Bwe,” a song inspired by her personal testimony and reflections on God’s grace in her life.

“Ubuntu Bwe”: A Song of Personal Testimony
Angel reveals that “Ubuntu Bwe” was born out of meditating on God’s unmerited favor and the transformative experiences she has had. She describes the song as a gratitude expression for the strength and hope God has given her during difficult times.

“I have gone through pivotal moments that made me deeply reflect on God’s goodness. This song came after realizing how God’s grace has empowered me to keep going, even when facing hardships. His grace helped me never to lose faith,” she said.
The song carries a message of faith, perseverance, and trusting God even in the darkest moments.

Inspiration from Israel Mbonyi
Angel credits renowned gospel singer Israel Mbonyi as her spiritual and musical role model. She admires:
• His humility and respect in singing,
• The wisdom and depth of his lyrics,
• And the way his songs help her return to God especially in challenging times.
She said, “Israel Mbonyi is a Spirit-filled singer with wisdom and insight. Every song he sings carries a lesson and reveals God’s kindness.”

Vision and Values
Angel’s vision goes beyond fame—she aims to spread the message of God’s love and goodness through her music worldwide. She hopes her songs inspire many to experience the extraordinary love of God.

She also emphasized that gospel artists should embody the fruits of the Spirit, including:

• Joy,
• Kindness,
• Good character,
• And righteousness.
She believes songs without these spiritual qualities may sound good but lack true spiritual impact.

Life and Ambitions
Having recently completed high school, Angel is fully committed to her musical calling while balancing everyday life responsibilities. She is determined to grow in her career and become a gospel artist who brings comfort and hope to many.

Although new in the gospel scene, Nyiribambe Angel is walking a purposeful path with clear vision, meaningful messages, and a heart to serve God.
