Kenya: The Mulenges have written a letter to Israel Mbonyi asking for a reduction in the entrance fees for the concert

The Mulenges who live in Kenya have asked the Gospel singer Israel Mbonyi who they consider as their brother to reduce the entrance fees for the concert he will perform there, because they want to go there but are afraid of the high ticket prices.

As soon as they received Israel Mbonyi’s message to perform a concert there, the Manager of Isooko TV in the voice of all Kenyans, especially Mulenges living in Kenya, sent him a message asking him to reduce the ticket prices.

In an interview with a journalist, one of the managers of Isooko TV, who is a Mulenge living in Kenya known as Zirayi, said: "The other day, Israel Mbonyi posted, saying that he has a concert here in Kenya, and it is populated by many people include Native Kenyans and Mulenges, and Israel Mbonyi is a Mulenge."

He continued: “When he said that he has this concert, we felt happy, because Israel Mbonyi’s songs have been helping us, for example Nina Siri (this song was a blessing to me), but the problem was the prices. As soon as we see the prices our hearts are pounding, we are discouraged because of our limited ability.”

Zirayi also said that there are many Mulenges like Israel Mbonyi who live in Kenya, so he should listen to them saying: "We as Mulenges who live in Kenya are very many people, many thousands speak Kinyamulenge and Kinyanda, so it was difficult for us to get these prices that we will not be able to afford even if we will go there. It will be difficult for us, but we love Israel Mbonyi especially because we miss him in the concert.”

In the message he sent as a letter to Israel Mbonyi, the Manager of Isooko TV, Zirayi, he told him: "Mr. Mbonyi, I am writing you this letter to let you know that we have received your message about your concert, we love you. However, go ahead and give us a discount on ticket prices. These costs are beyond our resources, not only beyond our resources but also our understanding.

So what we ask of you, I’m not telling you because there are people here who have money, like those who have wives out there, who will pay without worry! But everyone else doesn’t have a way of attending, so try to think how you can divide them in half for us who will not be able to afford it. I just promise you, whether we have money or not, we will come in the concert, we will touch you. We want you to sing Nina Siri for us, but whether we have money or not we will come.”

In the message Israel Mbonyi sent to Kenyans preparing them for the concert, he began by telling them the good news saying: “Hello beautiful people of Kenya. This is Israel Mbonyi, and I have good news to share. I’m thrilled to announce that I’m coming to Kenya, this year 2024. I’ll be performing live in Nairobi at The Africa Worship Experience, on the 10th August 2024, at Ulinzi Sport Stadium.”

He pointed out that Kenyans were among the first to support him in the last three years, for which he thanked them from the bottom of his heart. He said: “Kenyans hold the special place in my heart, and I’m super grateful for your unwavering support. you have been the number one supporters of my ministry for the last three years, and I’m very grateful for you guys."
