Creator Dallas Jenkins announced that Amazon Prime Video will be the official third-party streaming platform for the show after its theatrical releases.

This agreement means that after each new season is released in theaters, Prime Video will have an exclusive 90-day streaming window in the U.S. before the episodes become available on The Chosen app.

Jenkins emphasized that Amazon MGM Studios’ global reach will help bring the series to more audiences worldwide, ensuring widespread theatrical releases and improved accessibility.

Season 5, titled The Chosen: Last Supper, will begin its theatrical rollout on March 28, 2025, leading up to Easter weekend. Future seasons will continue to be released in theaters before their exclusive run on Prime Video, with major theatrical events planned for the crucifixion and resurrection storylines in seasons 6 and 7.
