Gospel artist Jeanne Dufashwanayo known as Jeanne Nayo announced that she is finalizing the music video for her new song titled “Nta Mpamvu”.
The song “Nta Mpamvu” is set to be released soon. Although its audio has been available on YouTube for over two years, since March 14, 2023, Jeanne plans to officially release the video in the near future.
Jeanne shared that the song has been very well received, not only by her but also by many listeners, as it carries a message of encouragement, reminding people that there is no reason to despair.
She said, “There is no reason to cry, worry, or condemn yourself.”
The artist, who is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, revealed that “Nta Mpamvu” is among the 16 songs she has produced so far in her music career. Although she has not yet released an album, she said that is part of her future plans.
Jeanne writes and performs all her songs herself.
“Amahoro Arabuze” brought her widespread recognition
Among her works, the most popular song is “Amahoro Arabuze”, released on July 25 of this year, which has been widely viewed on various platforms, including YouTube. Other songs by her include Umpe Amahoro, Izuba, Hari Umunsi, Ubushake Bwawe, among others.
She explained that the messages in her songs are meant to comfort those who are hurting:
“Sometimes you are comforted by God during difficult times. I don’t feel that such comfort should be kept for myself. When God blesses me with the ability to make music, I share that message through my songs.”
Asking for feedback from her fans
Jeanne encouraged her fans to support her and give her advice, acknowledging that she is still in the early stages of her career:
“There is a lot I am learning. Anyone who feels there is something I could add to my artistry should tell me. Everyone is also welcome to share my songs with others.”
She shared these remarks during an interview in her studio, which was later posted on YouTube on her channel Jeanne Nayo.
Continuing her mission of spreading peace and comfort through music, Jeanne emphasized that even when peace seems absent in the world, God has a plan to restore it in the hearts of His people.
