Israel Mbonyi and The Ben have been close friends for a long time, and have often been seen supporting each other in various activities. A good example is the wedding of The Ben and his partner Uwicyeza Pamela which took place in December last year 2023.
Israel Mbonyi joined The Ben to sing some of their songs of worship and praise to God including Nina Siri by Israel Mbonyi, the song which has over 47 million views on YouTube, and The Ben’s Ndaje which has over four million views despite it is lyrical videos.
Is it really just loving God and loving Israel Mbonyi? The answer is no! Reliable sources say that Israel and The Ben have already made a song together, even though it has not yet been published on music platforms.
On May 8, 2024, after nearly five months of rumors about this unnamed song, The Ben announced in a press conference that the song could be released by the end of May 2024.
He said: "The song is on the way, as I told you, today releasing a song as you think is not an easy thing, it’s not like in the past, but the song is on the way, one that has already been prepared by Mbonyi, I think that in the near future Rwandans must sing it out.”
Maybe, his posts are revealing that their song is coming very soon! This song which is coming from between the two artists, it will be added to other songs by The Ben, including Thank You with Tom Close, Ndaje, Jambo with Meddy and other songs he has done in worship and praise God.
