Gospel artist Frankruds, real name Frank Rudasingwa, has released his latest song, Himbaza, on March 31, 2025.
The song is inspired by Psalms 103, where King David reminds his soul to bless the Lord and not forget His benefits.
A testimony of love and mercy
Frankruds explains that Himbaza speaks about the mercy we have received through the immeasurable love of Jesus Christ. He says: “It reminds us that in this love, we find true freedom, healing from emotional wounds, and physical restoration.”
He reveals that the song was born from the words of Psalms 103, as this chapter focuses on God’s love, redemption, and forgiveness. He adds: “Just like David, I found myself deeply connected to these words. I realized that this love had reached me too, healing my heart and my life.”
His journey in Gospel music
A devoted member of New Life Bible Church from Kigali City, Kicukiro-Kagaram, Frankruds began his music career with his debut song Ntakikunira, which is available on his YouTube channel (Frankruds Official).
Although he has not yet held any live concerts, he has plans to do so in the future as God leads him. He says:
“My goal is to continue spreading the good news of Christ’s love through music and other possible ways, depending on how God leads me.”
A message to his fans
Before the release of Himbaza, Frankruds urged his fans to stay tuned, saying:
“Let everyone be reminded that we have been loved unconditionally… we were ransomed! Tell those who haven’t subscribed yet to do so quickly, so we can share this joy together!”
The song is already making waves among Gospel music lovers, thanks to its powerful lyrics and uplifting message.
