Pastor Christian Gisanura has launched a three-day prayer series, calling on believers to declare and confess that Jesus is sufficient in every aspect of life.
On the first day, Saturday, August 30, 2025, he explained that prayer is not only about asking, but also about building faith. Through prayer, we recognize that in all things Jesus is enough. As he emphasized, God gave us Jesus, and in Him, He gave us everything we need, which is sufficient for our whole lives.
He highlighted key Scriptures, including 2 Corinthians 9:8, explaining that God is able to make all grace abound toward us so that we may abound in every good work, bearing fruit, helping others, and using our gifts wisely. Pastor Gisanura stated that God’s grace touches every area of life: wisdom, finances, relationships, work, families, and beyond.
He urged believers to open their eyes to see the grace God has already given, to trust Him continually, and to pray not out of anxiety but with a focus on how to use His grace. He stressed that God’s grace is given not because of our merit, intelligence, or strength, but solely because of His love. He prayed:
“Lord, You often show us kindness out of Your own grace, not because we deserve it. Keep us from taking this grace for granted, but enable us to always appreciate it.”
Explaining how to remain thankful, Pastor Gisanura said the true way is to bear good fruit. He prayed further:
“Lord, open our eyes to see the grace You have given. You don’t do it once, but again and again, step by step. I pray for my brothers and sisters, and also for myself, that we may have hearts to perceive Your grace and walk in it. In humility, I ask You to open the heavens and send Your angels to accompany each person who needs Your grace.”
He also referred to Philippians 4:19 (“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus”) and Mark 11:24 (“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”). Pastor Gisanura reminded the congregation that God will supply every form of need, whether intellectual, financial, relational, or spiritual, and that whatever we ask in faith will be granted.
On this first day, he concluded by affirming that faith and prayer reveal Jesus as sufficient in all circumstances. In every challenge of life, God’s grace restores and sustains us daily.
