Chryso Ndasingwa to Perform in Europe for the First Time

Popular Rwandan gospel artist Chryso Ndasingwa is set to perform in Europe for the first time, a milestone he sees as a sign that his music and message are reaching far beyond Rwanda’s borders.

Chryso rose to fame with worship songs like “Wahinduye Ibihe”, “Wahozeho”, and “Ni Nziza”, gaining popularity in a short period. He became a household name after holding a historic concert at BK Arena on May 5, 2024, becoming only the second artist to fill the venue, something many top artists in Rwanda and Africa have not achieved.

Recently, he made headlines by proposing to his fiancée, Sharon Gatete, announcing their wedding set for November 22, 2025. The couple has since appeared frequently on YouTube, discussing their music, love journey, and other topics.

In an interview with inyaRwanda, Chryso revealed that his first European performance will take place in Brussels, Belgium. He emphasized that he views the opportunity as a spiritual mission and will be accompanied by his fiancée, Sharon.

“The concert isn’t just for me alone,” he said. “We were invited as a team to lead a worship concert in Europe. It’s a great blessing to know that people from other continents value our work and want us to visit.”

The event, titled “Wahinduye Ibihe Concert in Brussels, Belgium”, is organized by Divine Grace Entertainment and scheduled for November 8, 2025.

Chryso added that they are going with a message of gratitude and faith: “We’re bringing with us a spiritual gift, praising God, sharing His mercy, and declaring that Jesus transforms seasons. That message comes not just in words, but through our life experiences, our songs, and the spirit of prayer we’ve embraced before this journey.”

After making history at BK Arena, Chryso was invited to perform in Burundi where he held another successful concert. He explained that being invited to Europe marks a significant chapter in his ministry of worship and praise.

He stated: “When we received our first invitation to minister in Europe, we saw it as a divine calling. It confirmed that God is using us in greater ways, and that our message transcends national borders.”

He added: “For my personal music journey, this means a lot. It reminds me that gospel music is not confined by language or geography, it has the power to touch hearts around the world. It motivates me to keep writing, singing, and leading people in worship wherever they may be.”

Chryso was born in Nyamirambo- Rwanda and raised in a Catholic family before joining New Life Bible Church, where he currently serves. He began his professional music career during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sharon Gatete, Chryso’s fiancée and future travel partner, is a talented musician who studied music at Nyundo School of Music and is currently pursuing a degree in music in Kenya. Her song “Inkuru Nziza” has surpassed 527,000 views on YouTube. She hopes to pursue her music studies up to the PhD level.
