Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana is a married man with one wife named Alice Nsekonziza with whom they have three children. On July 8, 2017, the couple got engaged before God in a public ceremony.

Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana is a well-known name in East Africa because this servant of God is a great prophet who prophesied to different people and it came true. He has been in countries including Rwanda, Uganda, India and the USA where he is currently living.

He is the second child in a family of 9 children and studied at Rusumo High School, and continued his studies at Anamalai University in India where he received a Bachelor’s degree in community development. After that he continued his education in Master’s in the field of ’Population Study’ (Demographic).

He became Bishop in 2016 and was anointed by Bishop Jacques Rubanda. He has a church called Shekinah Glory Church that works in different countries including India where they have a large parish and Uganda where they have two parishes located in Mbarara and Nakivale. Maybe even in America he would start a Church.

Before Bishop Prophet Samuel went to live in America, he was renewed by the worshiper of his best friend Israel Mbonyi who went to say goodbye to him in India where he lived with his wife. It’s a trip they made a big secret, but there are photos of them that the Rwandan saw and they were all very happy when we started talking to this prophet.

The relationship between Israel Mbonyi and Bishop Prophet Samuel is old because they studied at the same University in India, and after that they continue to live well as God’s servants and share his blessings. They are not just friends anymore, but they are like brothers.

In 2016, Israel Mbonyi was invited by Bishop Prophet Samuel to the official opening ceremony of Shekinah Glory Church in Uganda. This is the last time this artist performed in this neighboring country, but now he is going to return there this year as he recently announced to his fans and the media.

At that time Israel Mbonyi healed many. Bishop Samuel said "I invited Israel Mbonyi to a meeting in Uganda, I remember that we saw God, Christians from different parts of Uganda in Kampala and many other places we praised God. In summary, it was a meeting that gave joy to many Christians living in Uganda".

At the beginning of 2024, Israel Mbonyi went to India to say goodbye to Bishop Prophet Samuel and his family before they went to live in America. The fact that the singer went to India without a break since a few days after his Christmas concert at the BK Arena, shows the strong relationship they have.

In an interview with media, Bishop Prophet Samuel revealed his history with Israel Mbonyi whom he considers as his brother. He said, "My history with Israel Mbonyi begins in India where we met while going to university, I am in front of the stage, God told me that Israel Mbonyi will become a great artist in the world".

He continued, "I stood up for him in the meeting and told him in public. All the educated people in India remember it as if it happened yesterday. He told me that he saw it with his own eyes. Even these days he came to say goodbye to me here in India, we spent three days in prayer. God gave him many other promises".

Bishop Prophet Samuel said that Israel Mbonyi is a servant of God now and in the future "because he is supported by God, there are many more things to come and God will use him because we pray to God who sais and fulfills".

Bishop Prophet Samuel says that more than 10 years ago he was told by God that Israel Mbonyi will be the greatest artist in the world. His heart is very satisfied because what God told him has started to come true, now Israel Mbonyi is rocking East Africa through songs that are sweet and touch the hearts of many.

Israel Mbonyi is the only artist in Rwanda who filled the BK Arena with ten thousands of people. He did it twice in his Christmas concert called "Icyambu Live Concert". He is the artist in Rwanda who has the most viewed Gospel song, "Nina Siri" which has been viewed by more than 36 million times on YouTube in just 7 months.

Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana confirmed the news of moving to the United States, saying, "My family and I moved to the United States to live there, as I am going to continue the service of God by using the talent God gave me to pray for people and prophesy, and when I will get the vision of starting a church as well I will let you know."

He says that together with the Diasporas, they went to pray to see God perform miracles. He said, "With God we will heal the hearts of many, the sick will recover from diseases, God will give them a promise, we will heal the hearts that were despaired, only everyone will know God’s plan for him. There will be many things, I only say a few things, but the Diasporas expect a lot".

Before his birth it was predicted that he would be the greatest ’Prophet’ in the world
Regarding the talent of prophecy, Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana told us that it was given to him in 2000 when he was 16 years old. When asked by media where his gift of prophecy comes from, he said that before his birth it was predicted that he would be the greatest prophet in the world. Prophet’.

He announced that God revealed it to a prophet called Eraston Karikofi, who also told his mother [Bishop Prophet Samuel’s mother] that the child she is pregnant will call him Samuel, and he will be an international prophet.

In his words, he said: "There is a prophet in our family named Eraston Karikofi who predicted to my mother when she was still a girl that she would become pregnant and give birth to a son named Samuel who would become an international prophet."

"When I was young I had a promise that I would be a prophet, then a talent came suddenly and I began to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, I began to speak new languages, then I began to pray long fasting prayers."

"When God gave me the ability to pray for diseases and prophesy in different countries of the world (India, DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, ...) and I started praying for people on the phone and they healed different diseases in all parts of the world".

Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana started serving God at a young age, he was brought up in Dave’s church working at Gitega in Kigali, and he sang in the ‘Apotres de Jesus’ (Apostles of Jesus) choir. In 2003, God gave him the gift of prophecy when he was still in high school, and he still uses it today.

He went to Indian University where he was very busy in preaching to Indians, many of them turned away from sin and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He holds a Master’s degree in Statistics.

Bishop Prophet Samuel Sibomana has been known for holding gatherings around the world such as DR Congo, Burundi, India, Uganda and Rwanda where we can mention the gathering he recently held at the Four Square Gospel Church in Kimironko.

When Bishop Jacques Rubanda of New Jerusalem ordained Prophet Samuel Sibomana as Bishop, he anointed him, anointing him with power and blessing to be the Great Shepherd of the Shekinah Glory Church in the world. He was given a shepherd’s staff, a Bible as a sword that he will carry with him and a priest’s robe.
