With just a few weeks to go before the highly anticipated gospel crusades in Soroti (October 9–12) and Busia (October 16–19), the atmosphere on the ground is electric.
The ministry A Light to the Nations, led by Evangelist Dana Morey and team, has launched a sweeping outreach movement that is transforming communities and drawing thousands to Christ, even before the main crusades begin.
The preparation effort is intense. Teams are fanning out across Soroti and Busia, visiting district offices, inspecting both satellite and main crusade grounds, and offering progress reports. There is a deep sense of urgency. Every member of the team is working with the mindset that “time is running out”, not just for the event logistics, but for the souls they are striving to reach.
As schools prepare to reopen next week, the team is also launching massive school outreach programs. Their goal: to share a “life message” with every student, pointing them to Jesus Christ and reminding them of their God-given purpose. This generation, they say, needs the message of Christ now more than ever.
In both cities, the impact of the Gospel truck outreaches is tangible. For the past two weeks, teams have been conducting two truck outreaches per day, preaching, worshiping, and ministering on the streets and open fields.
Attendance continues to rise dramatically, and people are flocking to hear the Gospel in unprecedented numbers. “People are coming to Jesus like never before,” one team member shared, “as if someone told them the world is ending tomorrow.” What was once a distant plan has now become a spiritual wildfire spreading rapidly throughout the Teso region and Busia district.
Amid these victories, the team also faces resistance. Some posters and billboards have been stolen or vandalized, yet the backlash only seems to amplify interest. “The more the opposition tries to silence the message,” the team wrote, “the more people come to see what is being fought against, and when they do, God touches them.”
Backed by the long-term vision of sustainable ministry, aLn Academy 2025 continues to train emerging Christian leaders across East Africa. Now in its third day of sessions, this year’s cohort is being equipped to become healthy, biblical, and effective leaders who will shape their communities with integrity, courage, and compassion.
These trainings are not mere theory. Participants are actively involved in ongoing ministry work, outreach campaigns, and mentoring. The academy believes that strong leaders are the backbone of long-lasting revival.
Even before the crusades officially begin, thousands have already come to Christ through the daily mobilizations, mini-crusades, and church partnerships. Gospel trucks, described as “catalysts for revival,” continue to drive transformation, literally and spiritually.
Local churches, such as the impactful Craze Ministry, have joined the mission, multiplying the reach and reinforcing the message across Uganda. The synergy between global vision and local collaboration is proving to be a powerful strategy for long-term kingdom impact.
As the ministry approaches these major crusade dates, the call for prayer support is loud and clear. The team is believing for miracles, favorable weather, and soft hearts ready for the Word. Evangelist Dana Morey is expected to minister powerfully in both cities, and the anticipation is building among churches, schools, and communities.
“We are witnessing something historic,” one leader shared. “God is already moving before we even take the main stage.”
With passion, prayer, and purpose, A Light to the Nations is sparking revival, not just events, but transformation
