Apostle Mignonne and Bishop Benjamin Dube Deliver Deep Messages at Ministers' Prayer Breakfast in Kigali

"Held on Thursday at Ubumwe Grande Hotel, the Ministers’ Prayer Breakfast — an event organized by Noble Family Church and Women Foundation Ministries — featured a powerful message."

Kigali, Rwanda, June 12, 2025, During the fifth day of the powerful 7-day worship event hosted by Noble Family Church and Women Foundation Ministries, a special Ministers’ Prayer Breakfast was held at Ubumwe Grande Hotel, drawing together church leaders, worshipers, and invited guests from around the world.

The event featured heartfelt teachings from the founder of Women Foundation Ministries, Apostle Alice Mignonne Kabera, alongside life-changing exhortations from the guest of honor, Bishop Benjamin Dube from South Africa.

Apostle Mignonne: "We are a home of worshipers"

Opening her address with deep gratitude, Apostle Mignonne stated: “This is a home of worshipers. Even though we may only gather once a year during these major conferences, we deeply love you all. Thank you for trusting us.”

Reflecting on Rwanda’s spiritual journey since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, she shared: “When I returned to Rwanda, I had just finished high school. It’s now been over 30 years, and I’ve witnessed how God has raised worshipers in this nation. After the Genocide, the Church was strong in the Word, but it struggled in worship. And it’s hard to pray without genuine worship.”

Quoting 2 Timothy 3:14, she encouraged the congregation to remain firm in what they have learned and in who taught them, urging worshipers not to sing empty songs but to carry a message with each note: “Many people sing for 40 minutes with no impact, simply because Jesus isn’t present on the platform.”

Bishop Dube: “Worship is not music—it’s life”

As the main speaker of the day, Bishop Benjamin Dube delivered a transformative message focused on the heart of worship and humility.

“I brought gifts,” he began, “one book titled Mu Kubaho Kwayo, which I’m offering to Apostle Mignonne. May God bless her. The second is Ukuboko k’Umuramyi, which I give to Sam. These books have helped me and reflect my 60 years of walking with God.”

He went on to clarify the essence of worship: “Worship is not music. It’s life. Every living thing was created to worship. God never asks of us what He hasn’t already given. He isn’t a dictator; He empowers us and wants us to grow through the work He entrusts us with.”

In a strong challenge to today’s worship leaders and artists, he added: “Let us not just be singers or performers—we are servants of God. In the church, no one is a celebrity. You may be famous outside, but in the house of God, we are all equal before Him.”

Bishop Dube reminded attendees that private devotion precedes public worship:
“Worship starts on your knees, alone with God. Don’t wait for the stage. Let God’s will lead, not your personal desire.”

7 Days of Worship: A Continental Gathering

This event was part of the renowned 7 Days of Worship, an annual conference hosted by Women Foundation Ministries, a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by Apostle Mignonne Kabera. The gathering draws worshipers and ministers from Rwanda and across the globe.

Other guest ministers at this year’s event include:
• Rev. Julian Kyula (Kenya)
• Nduwimana David (Australia)

Together, they are uniting believers through worship, teaching, and spiritual transformation.
