Ambassadors of Christ has intensified preparations for its 30th anniversary by undertaking a series of community outreach initiatives that reflect its commitment beyond music ministry
Known for supporting vulnerable groups and promoting social development, the renowned gospel choir has carried out activities including a tree-planting campaign, visits to youth rehabilitation centers, and outreach programs for survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Among the activities was the planting of 30 symbolic trees in Rusororo Sector, Gasabo District, representing the choir’s three decades of ministry.
The choir also visited youth at Iwawa and Gitagata rehabilitation centers, where members shared messages against drug abuse and other harmful behaviors while offering various forms of support.
In addition, Ambassadors of Christ visited families in the Rudakabukirwa IDP Model Village in Gikomero Sector to provide encouragement and solidarity to genocide survivors.
The outreach activities are part of a broader anniversary program leading up to a grand celebration scheduled for August 30, 2026, at BK Arena.
The event will highlight the choir’s 30-year journey in gospel ministry and its contribution to communities in Rwanda and beyond. Tickets for the celebration are expected to go on sale on June 5, 2026.
