Alarm Ministries, marking 26 years of gospel ministry through music, hosted a historic worship and praise concert in Rwanda that attracted a large, enthusiastic crowd and enjoyed strong support from prominent gospel artists.
The concert, titled “Iyo Ni Yo Data Live Concert,” took place at Camp Kigali and left every attendee inspired and spiritually uplifted. Alarm Ministries, which has been active in Rwanda for over two decades in the fields of worship and praise, showcased its legacy of gospel music during this milestone event.
Alarm Ministries then returned to the stage to perform additional songs, interacting with the audience and encouraging everyone to celebrate and freely express their joy through dance and worship before the concert concluded.
The concert’s title, “Iyo Niyo Data,” is derived from the popular song of the same name, which many consider a significant spiritual message surpassing other recent releases.
In an interview at Camp Kigali, Pastor Serugo Benjamin (Ben) explained the decision to name the concert after the song “Iyo Ni Yo Data.” He noted that the song is not just a musical creation but a testimony of life that reconnects people with God’s calling and mercy.
Ben stated, "Of course! You see, a song might be written by one person, but once it reaches a group, you notice the impact it brings. Everyone is affected differently… Each person reflects, experiences communion with God, and truly feels the way the song works on them while connecting them to God."
