In a message through his social media including Instagram, Israel Mbonyi said: “How are you my people? It happened again. On December 25, 2024, the Icyambu Concert is going to be held for the third time. I’m a Living Testimony, thank you. Don’t miss it! In the near future we will tell you how all the arrangements including the purchase of tickets will be."

He went on to say that it is a blessing that God has made it possible to find gathering places for ten thousand or more people in Rwanda. He encouraged people to prepare for Christmas and prepare that in the morning of that day they will eat with friends and relatives, and then in the evening they will sing to God together with him.

It is the third time that he will perform a concert there in the concert called Icyambu Live Concert, this will be the 3rd edition, while the 1st edition was held in 2022, and the second in 2023. The third will also be held in BK Arena as normally on December 25, 2024, Christmas Day.

Twice or in the previous two editions, Israel Mbonyi sold all the tickets he had put on the market, people hit the BK Arena, a house that is never filled by anyone else, except Chryso Ndasingwa who surprised Rwandans and did it for the first time when he performed this year in May.

It is expected that this time more than ten thousand people will buy tickets and go to sing with this popular singer Israel Mbonyi who has performed in different places including Kenya, Uganda and other places, and everywhere people fill his concerts.

Icyambu is the name of one of the most popular songs from his fourth album. This album is also called ’Icyambu (Port)’. ’Icyambu’ is also a word in his name, because he is called Israel Mbonyicyambu.

He is the first artist in Rwanda who has the history of filling the BK Arena twice, which hosts more than ten thousand people, in these concerts he performs on Christmas. It is expected that this year he will also hold a concert that will be crowded, and some wished that it would be held in the Amahoro Stadium, which hosts 45,000 people.
