The United Pentecost Holy Spirit Church of Australia, in celebration of the Pentecost feast, has invited Rev. Pastor Usabwimana Samuel and gospel singer Hakizimana Evaliste to minister in a virtual service that will take place via Zoom Meeting, under the leadership of Pastor Jeremiah, the senior pastor of the church.

Pentecost commemorates the day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles as they gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem, awaiting the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise. When the Holy Spirit came upon them, they began to speak in new tongues.

Peter then boldly addressed the crowd, proclaiming that the same Jesus they crucified was behind this miraculous event. Many accepted salvation, making Pentecost the official birth of the Church of Christ.

Based on this biblical history, the United Pentecost Holy Spirit Church of Australia has organized a service that aligns with this annual remembrance of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The theme for the event is: “Pentecost: The Birthday of the Church of Christ.”
