Prophet Isaac Marrion [Brown] to Launch School of Prophecy in Rwanda

Prophet Isaac Marrion [Brown], the founder and leader of Spirit Republic Ministry, widely known as Isaac Nayituriki or simply Isaac Marrion, has announced plans to establish a school dedicated to teaching prophecy in Rwanda.

The initiative aims to address challenges related to false prophecies and a lack of professionalism in prophetic ministries.

Isaac Marrion revealed that his gift of prophecy manifested when he was just 17 years old. He recounted a profound spiritual experience where, after praying alone, he began to receive detailed information about people he met, as if it was written on their foreheads.

He shared his admiration for biblical prophets Elijah and Isaiah, and among contemporary prophets, he highly regards Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng of Power Chapel Worldwide in Kumasi, Ghana. Prophet Boateng, 50, is a renowned theologian and philanthropist, married to Anita Kusi Boateng, with four children.

In a special interview with media, Prophet Isaac emphasized the need for a formal school of prophecy in Rwanda to correct the many misconceptions and improper practices he has observed among local prophets. He referenced the biblical “company of prophets” during Samuel’s time, describing how prophetic training involved spiritual growth, close fellowship, and discernment of God’s voice.

Isaac explained that many mistakenly believe a divine calling comes only through illness or death. However, the Bible shows that God calls people while they are alive and active, as in the case of young Samuel. He described how Eli mentored Samuel to recognize and respond to God’s voice, illustrating the need for guidance and instruction in prophecy.

The upcoming school, expected to launch before the end of 2025, will teach prophecy with a strong emphasis on spiritual maturity and understanding, aiming to equip students to distinguish genuine prophetic messages from false ones. Isaac highlighted that not all self-proclaimed prophets are trained or genuine, which leads to errors and confusion in the community.

He stressed that prophetic ministry is not reserved only for pastors, bishops, or apostles but requires formal training, comparable to how one cannot teach mathematics without learning it first. Isaac cited the importance of humility, discipline, and continuous learning for all who engage in prophecy.

The prophet praised the current guidelines from Rwanda’s National Intelligence and Security Service (RGB), which require prophetic gifts to be backed by proper training and accountability.
Isaac also spoke about his mentor, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, a wealthy Ghanaian prophet who teaches prophetic ministry globally but prefers to remain low-profile.

Regarding the state of prophecy in Rwanda, Isaac observed a lack of internationally recognized prophets originating from the country, attributing this to limited exposure and language barriers. He predicts growth as Rwanda develops.

He noted the cultural aspect of prophetic ministry in Rwanda, where prayer and intercession dominate, and cautioned against false claims of prophecy involving predictions of death or disaster, which contradict biblical teachings focused on edification, exhortation, and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3).

Isaac recounted personal prophetic revelations, including one involving a child named Ashley and another concerning Miss Rwanda 2020, Naomie Nishimwe, whom he prophesied would become a queen in a spiritual sense beyond the pageantry of a beauty title.

Prophet Isaac Marrion has been a prominent figure at major East African revival events, including the Miracle Healing Crusade hosted by Pastor Benny Hinn in Uganda, where he appeared alongside leading pastors such as Robert Kayanja and Prophet Samuel Kakande.

He believes that the school of prophecy he will establish will transform prophetic ministry in Rwanda by fostering spiritual growth, biblical accuracy, and professional prophetic training.
