Lugazi Ablaze: How A City Was Shaken by the Power of the Miracle Gospel Harvest Crusade

What began as a three-day evangelistic campaign turned into a full-blown spiritual awakening in the heart of Lugazi.

From July 11 to 13, 2025, thousands gathered for the Miracle Gospel Harvest Crusade, hosted by A Light to the Nations (ALN) and led by Evangelist Dana Richard Morey from the United States.

It wasn’t just a crusade, it was revival in real-time. Entire communities were transformed. Families were healed. Souls were saved. And the city of Lugazi was set ablaze with the fire of the Gospel.

The Grand Finale, A Night of Glory
Though all three nights were remarkable, the final evening on July 13 was nothing short of historic. The fields of Wagadugu Railway Grounds were packed with worshipers. Thousands more joined via satellite in nearby towns and villages, watching in real time as the power of God moved.

Even with heat and muddy grounds, people stood for hours with hungry hearts. And heaven responded. Miracles unfolded as the blind received their sight, the deaf began to hear, and the sick were healed. Emotional wounds were healed. Addictions were broken. Families were restored. Most importantly, thousands surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ.

“This was more than a crusade,” said a local pastor. “It was what our city has prayed for — a true move of God.”

Day One, Confronting Sin with the Truth
The crusade opened on July 11 with a fiery message from Evangelist Dana Morey about the devastating impact of sin. He explained how sin breaks our relationship with God, leads to emotional turmoil, causes death, and even affects society at large. But he didn’t stop there, he pointed to the hope and redemption available through Jesus.

“Jesus can no longer be killed or defeated,” Morey declared. “He conquered sin, death, and the grave. He is alive and reigning as King of kings and Lord of lords!”

The crowd erupted in worship and conviction. Many wept. Many repented. Hands were raised, hearts were opened, and heaven touched earth.

Day Two, An Invitation to the Lukewarm
The second day’s message was deeply personal. Evangelist Morey extended a divine invitation to the lukewarm, the self-satisfied, the doubtful, and those walking in spiritual darkness.

“Jesus doesn’t force His way in,” he said. “He lovingly invites you to open your heart to Him.”

And people responded. With tears and trembling voices, many who had drifted from God found their way back. It was an evening of deep surrender, spiritual healing, and renewal. The Spirit of God moved like a mighty wind.

Jesus March, Warfare on the Streets
Before the crusade nights, believers took to the streets in ALN’s signature Jesus March. But this time, it wasn’t just singing and celebration. It was spiritual warfare.
As participants walked through the city, many didn’t sing, they prayed, cried out, and declared freedom over their communities. It felt less like a parade and more like an army on a divine mission.
“We’re not just walking,” one participant said. “We’re reclaiming the land.”
The march stunned locals who had never witnessed such raw, passionate prayer in public. It was Lugazi’s streets echoing with the sound of intercession.

Bold Faith Conference, Reclaiming Identity in Christ
On the sidelines of the crusade, believers gathered for the Bold Faith Conference, where Morey taught on discovering one’s identity in Christ. His message was clear and empowering:
“When you know who God says you are, your faith becomes unshakable. Your choices, your peace, your purpose, everything changes.”

The conference wasn’t just about emotional moments. It offered solid biblical teaching that equipped attendees to walk boldly in their faith long after the crusade.

The Movement Continues
The Lugazi crusade may have ended, but A Light to the Nations is only just beginning. The ministry plans to continue its evangelistic outreach across Uganda and other parts of Africa, raising up local leaders, training counselors, and empowering churches.

Evangelist Dana Morey closed with a powerful truth: “The miracle isn’t just in the healing of the body. It’s in the eternal transformation of the heart. Uganda is being changed, one soul at a time.”

Lugazi will never be the same. A flame was lit, and it’s only spreading.
