This is a message delivered by Christian Gisanura on February 20, 2026, centered on the truth that Jesus is the Source of life who has accompanied every person from the very day they were born.
Pastor Christian Gisanura taught that Jesus is the Source who protects, sustains, and guides a person—both physically and spiritually—even during seasons of trials, and even when that person does not recognize Him or may disregard Him.
Life Is Not an Accident
In human life, there are many things we often take for granted: being born, growing up, going to school, earning a living, and achieving certain dreams.
Yet when a person pauses to reflect deeply on the origin of their life, they begin to realize that a hand greater than their own ability has been guiding them since the very first day.
As written in Psalm 22:10–11, God brought us forth and cared for us even from our mother’s womb. A person is entrusted to God before birth, and He is never far away in times of trouble. This reminds us that birth is not an accident, and growth is not merely luck—it is part of God’s divine plan.
When we consider the number of infants who die at birth or pregnancies that end prematurely each day, we understand more clearly that life itself is a gift. Some are born into hardship, others fall seriously ill at a young age, and others face life-threatening accidents.
Yet many are preserved through all of this. It is not because of their own strength, nor because they are better than others, but because the Source of life has been walking with them.
The Rock That Followed
According to 1 Corinthians 10:4, the Israelites were accompanied by a spiritual Rock in the wilderness—and that Rock was Christ. Though they journeyed through a long desert without water, the Rock followed them and provided what they needed.
This reveals that God is not distant from humanity; rather, He walks with us wherever we go. Many people do not realize that God’s hand has followed them throughout their lives—protecting them from fatal accidents, shielding them from serious illness, and opening doors they never imagined.
Some say, “I succeeded because of my own effort.” Others say, “I reached this level because of my intelligence.” But Scripture shows that behind all these accomplishments stands a Source who continually sustains our lives. Provision is not only about food—it is also about inner peace, protection from danger, and guidance in major decisions.
Fear Separates, Faith Connects
Fear is one of the greatest things that distances a person from the Source. In Job 3:25 it says, “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.” When a person allows fear to control them, it is as though they are inviting negativity into their life.
Fear weakens faith, and faith is what connects a person to God. When faith decreases, hope fades, and a person begins to feel alone in life’s journey.
But in truth, God knows exactly where He is leading us. In Jeremiah 1:5, it is written: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
This shows that even before we were born, there was already a plan for our lives. Before our parents even met, God had a purpose for us. That is why, despite severe trials, we have not been destroyed.
God’s Unfailing Love
There are times when a person denies God, ignores Him, or even resists Him. Yet even when someone turns their back on God, He continues to walk with them.
This demonstrates His unfailing love. It is like a lion standing guard over someone drawing water from a well—the person is protected, and no one can harm them, even if they are unaware that the lion is there. God stands for us, fights for us, and strengthens us.
The Source of Security
When we understand that Jesus is the Source who has been with us since day one, our hearts are freed from anxiety. If He has walked with us in the past, He will also walk with us in the future. Our responsibility is to accept Him, open our lives to Him, and replace fear with trust.
Human life is not a random series of events; it is a journey with a Guide. Jesus is the Source of life, the Source of answers, and the Source of security. When we remain in Him, even in difficult seasons, we do not lose heart—because we know that the One who began the journey with us will help us finish it.
