Israel Mbonyi has shed light on what they say is a mistake in promoting a drink produced by SKOL

After signing the contract to promote Malton drink with SKOL company and saying that it violated the principles of salvation, Israel Mbonyi immediately clarified, saying that the promotion of this drink has nothing to do with breaking the law of salvation.

Both on YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram, many people continued to say that Israel Mbonyi made the mistake of advertising a fermented drink, alcoholic drink, but most of them said what they did not understand, because even though SKOL is a drink that contains less alcohol, Malton isn’t how it is. They continued to be afraid of being done by SKOL and did not focus on its uniqueness.

Israel Mbonyi signed the contract to advertise Maltona still with Skol Brewery, on Friday 26 July 2024. At that time the management of Skol Brewery Ltd met with him, the CEO of the company, Eric Gilson, confirmed him as the new ’Brand Ambassador’ of Maltona, a soft drink.

As soon as Israel Mbonyi agreed with them to be Bran Ambassador, he announced how it started to become him saying: "I first examined it, I tried it, I did it with my friends and we were talking, I enjoyed it, I liked its smell and taste, I felt that I loved it.

I liked it first of all, then I met them and they chose me to be the brand ambassador, I was happy, I liked it from the beginning, it became necessary for us to coordinate discussions, they thought it would be a good thing to bring it to many people."

He thanked the management of this company, but he also shed light on what people were saying about this drink, saying that it is harmful, so that he is going to disrespect the principles of avoiding alcohol and saying:

"I am grateful to the leaders who chose me but I also want to explain that this is not an alcoholic drink, especially I do not advertise as something other than that. So it doesn’t matter to me because I know the truth and people know that I don’t do such a thing. I think most of them are saying for just joking.”

He returned to the way he will use his advertising, saying that he will use his social media, for example X or Instagram, saying: "In advertising, I will use all my social media, but the aim is to show people that it is a natural and healthy drink."

Maltona is a drink made from grains and other original plants and is so sweet that it goes well with all non-alcoholic drinks, which is best when cold. SKOL Brewery launched this drink with the slogan “TASTES THAT KEEP YOUR THIRST”, announcing that everyone can get it anywhere for 600 Frw.
