God-Loving Fans End January Listening to Meddy, The Ben, and Bruce Melodie

Artists Meddy, The Ben, and Bruce Melodie have helped gospel music lovers start the year on a high note with the beautiful songs they have released.

The first to drop a song was Bruce Melodie, who released Nzaguha Umugisha on January 17, 2025, as part of his album Colorful Generation. The song has been widely loved, including by gospel artist Israel Mbonyi.

Bruce Melodie revealed that before writing the song, he took time to listen to Israel Mbonyi’s music to ensure he crafted a song that would touch many hearts. Just as he had hoped, Nzaguha Umugisha became a favorite among listeners and continues to be played daily on various music streaming platforms, including YouTube, which is widely used in Rwanda.

Bruce Itahiwacu, popularly known as Bruce Melodie, has often expressed his love for God and has stated that he might release a full gospel album if many people continue to request it. He is a Christian in the Pentecostal Church in Rwanda (ADEPR) and began his music career as a member of a church choir.

ENJOY NZAGUHA UMUGISHA

The second artist, Benjamin Mugisha, known as The Ben, is a man who consistently proclaims his love for God in churches, concerts, and other gatherings.

His latest album, unveiled on January 1, 2025, contains a gospel song titled Isi, even though the full album has not yet been officially released. In this song, he sings about how the world is fading away along with its pleasures, asking for a guiding star to lead him through life’s difficult journey.

The Ben has produced several gospel songs, including Thank You, a hit collaboration with Dr.

Muyombo Thomas (Tom Close), Ndaje, which he and his mother cherish deeply, and many others. During his concert on January 1, 2025, he stated, “There may come a time when we meet here again just to worship.” He hinted that he is drawing closer to serving God, affirming, “I know that when the time comes, I will serve Him.”

His song Isi was officially released on January 31, 2025, and is now available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, BoomPlay, and Audiomack. The YouTube release is expected in the coming days.

The third artist is Meddy Ngabo Medard. His long-awaited song had been in the works for over two years. Titled Blessed, it was released on January 31, 2025. The U.S.-based singer, who resides there with his family, had initially announced this song before releasing Grateful on January 14, 2023.

Many fans eagerly awaited Blessed, but in the meantime, he released other unexpected songs, including Niyo Ndirimbo, a collaboration with Adrien Misigaro. The delay was due to reasons only Meddy himself knows, which heightened anticipation among his fans. Now that it is finally out, it is available on all major music platforms. Among the three artists, Meddy is the only one who released both an audio and a music video for his song.

ENJOY BLESSED

These songs will continue to be played for generations to come because their message remains timeless. They speak of real-life experiences, the great things God does for believers, His protection, salvation, and the hope He provides—blessings that will never cease.
