A Light to the Nations, a ministry led by Evangelist Dana Morey, is set to host two major Gospel crusades in Uganda, under the theme “Miracle Gospel Celebration.”
Lugazi Crusade – July 11–13, 2025
The first of these events will take place in Lugazi City, from July 11 to 13, 2025, at Wagadugu Grounds, near Lugazi Community Primary School. Each day, the revival meetings will begin at 3:00 PM and run until 8:00 PM.
Alongside the main crusade, a Bold Faith Conference will be held for local church leaders, taking place from July 11–12, beginning each morning at 6:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.
This Gospel mission is organized by A Light to the Nations, a ministry that focuses heavily on mass evangelism across the World, especially in Africa through revival meetings, with the goal of bringing spiritual renewal, healing, and salvation to communities. Guest gospel artists at the Lugazi event include Betty Namaganda and Joseph Segawa.
There will also be giveaways of various items such as motorbikes, TVs, bicycles, mobile phones, and home appliances, supported by the ministry’s unique outreach strategy known as the “Gospel Sandwich.”
Bweyale Crusade – July 3–6, 2025
Before heading to Lugazi, Evangelist Dana Morey will minister in Bweyale, in a four-day “Miracle Gospel Celebration” crusade scheduled from July 3 to 6, 2025, at the Petrol Uganda Grounds. The sessions will run daily from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This crusade will also feature the Bold Faith Conference from July 4 to 5, intended for pastors and church leaders, starting each morning at 6:00 AM and concluding by 12:00 PM.
Among the gospel artists expected to perform are Peggy Nighty and Bendera A Yesu [Prince Robby Elia], both well-known for their worship music in Uganda.
Similar to the Lugazi event, this crusade will also feature exciting giveaways including motorbikes, televisions, mobile phones, and bicycles, offered in partnership with the ALN Sandwich program.
What is the “Gospel Sandwich”?
Dr. Ian Tumusiime, the African Director of A Light to the Nations, explained the concept of the “Gospel Sandwich”, a creative evangelistic approach combining the message of salvation with physical giveaways to attract and bless attendees.
“We want to attract large crowds to hear the Gospel. That’s why we package the Good News like a sandwich—with the Gospel as the bread, and gifts like motorbikes, phones, and TVs as the meat and toppings,” he said.
Through this model, the ministry ensures that attendees are drawn in with tangible rewards but ultimately leave spiritually enriched by the message of Christ.
