After months of anticipation and a fresh rebrand, celebrated Rwandan gospel singer Divine Muntu is preparing to release the official music video for her latest song, “Hozana,” this Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

While the video is set to premiere tomorrow, the audio version of the song is already available on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, DistroKid, Boomplay, and more. The audio release has been met with positive feedback from fans across the region, especially for its unique blend of Gospel themes and Rwandan cultural rhythms.

A Joyful Sound: “Hozana” Now Streaming

“Hozana” is a celebratory Gospel track rooted in traditional Rwandan (gakondo) sound, yet arranged with modern musical elements that make it accessible and powerful for a wide audience.

“‘Hozana’ is filled with the message of God’s greatness,” Divine shared in an interview with Paradise. “It’s a Gospel song, but it’s also danceable in a way that honors our culture while giving glory to Christ.”

The song was produced by Chris of Unlimited Record Studio, known for his work in combining local instrumentation with high-quality production. The audio version features rich, organic sounds and meaningful lyrics written by Divine herself.

Music Video Drops September 23

The official music video, produced by Director Patient Forsure in collaboration with Trinity For Support (TFS), is set to drop Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The visuals were crafted to match the song’s spiritual intensity and cultural richness, with scenes shot in uniquely Rwandan locations.

“We wanted a video that would speak to the heart but also reflect the beauty of our Rwandan identity,” said a spokesperson from TFS. “It’s Gospel, but it’s also artistic and proudly local.”

Rebranding: From Divine Nyinawumuntu to Divine Muntu

As part of this new chapter, the artist formerly known as Divine Nyinawumuntu has changed her stage name to Divine Muntu to eliminate confusion with another artist sharing a similar name.

“There was a lot of mix-up with another singer named Grace Nyinawumuntu,” explained her manager, Ev. Frodouard Uwifashije, who also serves as the CEO of TFS. “Now that she’s rebranding as Divine Muntu, she has a clearer identity as she moves forward in her ministry.”

Divine expressed deep gratitude for the journey so far: “I give glory to God. This is a new season for me, and I’m thankful for everyone who’s walking with me through it,” she said.

Already Making Waves Online

Though the music video is still pending release, “Hozana” is already trending across social media platforms, where fans are using it in Instagram and Facebook stories, expanding its reach beyond just traditional Gospel listeners.

The song marks a turning point in Divine’s music career, highlighting not only her vocal strength but also her spiritual message and cultural pride.
