On March 29, 2025, the second day of the Miracle Gospel Celebration in Mubende, Uganda, was marked by prayer, deliverance, and miraculous healings.
The event was led by Dr. Dana Morey, an evangelist ministering in partnership with his family through A Light to the Nations (ALN). His sermon focused on salvation, God’s mercy, and the power of faith in Jesus Christ.
Theo Bosebabireba’s Powerful Worship Performance
One of the most anticipated artists on Day Two was Theo Bosebabireba, a well-known Gospel singer from Rwanda with a strong following in the region. He led the congregation in powerful worship, performing spirit-filled songs that encouraged and comforted those in attendance.
Recently, he released new songs such as Africa and Ese Muri Hehe?, which have inspired many to strengthen their faith and draw closer to God. His song Ese Muri Hehe? carries a deep message of hope and a heartfelt prayer for God’s intervention, resonating with people facing various challenges.
During his performance, many in the crowd were seen raising their hands in worship, shedding tears, and praying deeply, showing how touched they were by the presence of God.
Message of the Day: Jesus is the Only Way to God
In his sermon, Dr. Dana Morey emphasized John 14:6, where Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
He reminded the audience that salvation is a personal decision and reinforced his message with Revelation 3:20, where Jesus says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with them.”
He also gave Biblical examples, including:
• Daniel, who was saved from the lions’ den,
• Abraham, who obeyed God’s command to sacrifice Isaac, and
• The Israelites, whose faith led to the fall of Jericho’s walls.
Dr. Morey emphasized that faith is the foundation of God’s miracles.
Testimonies of Healing and Deliverance
This day was marked by extraordinary miracles, with many people who had been sick for years receiving instant healing.
Among the testimonies was a woman who had suffered from a severe illness for over five years. After receiving prayers, she testified that she felt immediate healing and was able to walk freely. Additionally, those oppressed by evil spirits were delivered after being prayed for, demonstrating the power of God among the believers.
Mubende Transformed by the Gospel
The Miracle Gospel Celebration deeply impacted the people of Mubende. Thousands continued to attend over the three-day revival, with many eager to receive salvation and a closer relationship with God.
Before the event, an outreach campaign called Jesus Drive was held—where believers marched through the city, preaching and inviting people to the crusade. This led to a widespread acceptance of the Gospel.
The Miracle Gospel Celebration, which ran from March 28 to March 30, 2025, was a powerful event filled with life-changing miracles and spiritual breakthroughs. It was a reminder that God still heals, delivers, and transforms lives today!
