Day 3 of Prayers to Walk with Jesus – Pastor Christian Gisanura

On the third and final day of the prayers to walk with Jesus, held on August 28, 2025, Pastor Christian Gisanura reminded believers that in a world full of trials and challenges, Jesus alone can walk with us, guide us, and give us the strength to overcome.

He reflected on the struggles people face daily—wars, poverty, sickness, and other hardships—yet emphasized that Jesus is the one who empowers us to endure and rise above them. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 1:8–9, he reminded the congregation that it is Jesus who will sustain all who believe in Him until the end.

Pastor Gisanura also addressed the challenges faced by parents preparing their children to return to school, including school fees, uniforms, and other necessities. He prayed that God would help them during this difficult time so that they would not fall into sin or despair, but rather continue trusting that He will provide.

He also encouraged students who failed and must repeat classes not to give up, urging them to remain steadfast and keep learning, while calling on parents to support them with patience and love. He prayed for God to give them strength of heart, affirming that nothing done in Christ is ever in vain.

Pastor Gisanura further reminded believers that Jesus did not call us merely to be His servants, but to be His friends. A true friend, he said, empowers the one they love. That is why every Christian should embrace the calling to walk with Jesus, who is the guide and leader of their lives.

In his message, he declared: “I need Jesus in the tangible and the intangible, in my friendships and my thoughts, in all my works. Let Jesus be my partner.”

He stressed that Jesus never left His people as orphans but gave the Holy Spirit, who leads us, carries us through darkness, lifts us into the light, and fills us with lasting joy.

Concluding, Pastor Christian Gisanura gave thanks to Jesus, affirming that after three days of prayer, it was clear that Jesus walks faithfully with His people. He urged the congregation never to part from Him—not even for a single moment—because life only has true meaning when it is lived in Him.
