David Kega is back with a new song 'Sinzakurekura' which contains comforting words for the depressed

Worship and praise singer David Kega has released a new song called ’Sinzakurekura (I won’t let you go)’ which is helping many to find comfort from God because it is coming back to people who refuse to let go and get blessings.

This song ’Sinzakurekura (I won’t let you go)’ is out on February 24, 2024, it comes as it has been long awaited by lovers of songs of worship and praise to God, especially those who are depressed, have a heavy heart, and feel that God is far away.

These people he sings about refused to let go of God, and said ’I will not let you go’, including those who were depressed, who were grieving, but because of not letting God go, they received promises, and heal from physical ailments.

There is a place where he talks about how a deer runs and looking around to see if it can find a place to drink water, like how his heart be looking for God, so that he does not allow him to go empty-handed.

He talks about a man in ancient times who met an angel, who refused to let him go because he wanted him to go after blessing him. You can find this in the book of Genesis, but this song is based on chapter 32:27 ‘After that he said: “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” To this he said: “I am not going to let you go until you bless me.”’

The man mentioned in this verse is Jacob. As he was on his way, he met a man and they fought, and Jacob was stronger than him. Because the one they were fighting was an angel, he took hold of his blood, which made him defeat him, but Jacob continued to catch him saying: "I will not let you go without blessing me." Not letting this man (angle) go made him blessed, he was given the name of Israel, the father of many nations.

He also talks about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. He saw Jesus walking through the crowd, went to him and touched him, and she was immediately healed. She refused to let go of Jesus.

There are many others that Jesus himself did and received, for example the one that this artist David Kega says. He was blind, and Jesus touched him and he was healed.

This is what made him write this song, saying that he has not let go of Jesus either. For depressed people, This song is for them, because if they don’t let go of Jesus they will be blessed, saved spiritually, healed from sickness, and live with hope for the future.

He currently sings as a freelance artist, and sings in the El Shaddai Choir, where he is the song director. He has hit songs including Ntiwandangarana which has been out for three months, Aransanga, Akabando and others.
