Date Change for Chryso Ndasingwa's European Concert Leaves Fans Curious

Gospel artist Chryso Ndasingwa has announced a new date for his much-anticipated concert in Brussels, Belgium. The rescheduling, which comes just days after news about his upcoming wedding, has sparked speculation and curiosity among fans and the gospel music community.

Chryso Ndasingwa, known for powerful songs like Wahinduye Ibihe (You Changed the Seasons), Wahozeho, and Ni Nziza, initially scheduled his European concert for November 8, 2025. However, on Friday evening, the singer took to his social media platforms to share that the concert has now been moved to November 23, 2025.

He posted: “Please note the concert date has changed. It will now be held on November 23, 2025. Tickets are available via the link in my bio. God bless you.”

The event, titled "Wahinduye Ibihe Concert", is organized by Divine Grace Entertainment and marks Chryso’s first-ever performance in Europe. In a recent interview with InyaRwanda, Chryso shared that the concert is part of a larger vision, not just a personal performance.

He explained: “This is not just about me being invited. As a team, we received an invitation to minister in Europe. It’s a blessing to see people from other continents value our ministry and ask us to come.”

He added that the team is not going to Europe empty-handed: “We are bringing a message of gratitude to God, a testimony of His mercy, and a declaration that Jesus changes seasons. This message is not just in words, but in our life experiences, in our music, and in the prayers that have covered us ahead of this journey.”

Chryso became a household name after making history on May 5, 2024, by filling up BK Arena, becoming only the second Rwandan artist ever to do so.

After that milestone, he was invited to perform in Burundi, where he also delivered a highly successful show. Now, stepping onto a European stage for the first time signals a major milestone in his international ministry journey.

“When we received this first international invitation to glorify Jesus in Europe, we knew it was part of a bigger calling. It’s a sign that our work has a message that goes beyond borders,” he said.

He continued: “As for my personal music journey, this means a lot. It reminds me that gospel music is not limited by language or geography, it can touch hearts anywhere. That motivates me to write more, sing more, and lead more people into God’s presence, wherever they are.”

But the new concert date raised questions: Chryso’s church wedding to his fiancée Sharon Gatete was initially set for November 22, 2025, just one day before the concert. Many wondered whether it was realistically possible to host a wedding and perform a major concert back-to-back, unless both events were to happen in Europe.

While Chryso and Sharon did not respond to requests for comment, reliable sources close to the couple told media that the wedding date has also been moved, now scheduled for early October 2025. The source added that final preparations are nearly complete.

Chryso Ndasingwa, who grew up in Nyamirambo in a Catholic family before joining New Life Bible Church, began his professional music journey during the COVID-19 pandemic.

His fiancée Sharon Gatete, also a talented gospel singer, studied music at Nyundo and is currently pursuing her music degree in Kenya. She is best known for her song Inkuru Nziza (Good News) and hopes to pursue her music education all the way to the PhD level.

The changes in both the wedding and concert dates show that Chryso Ndasingwa’s ministry and personal life are stepping into a new chapter, one filled with international engagements, deeper spiritual commitments, and major life transitions.

With his concert now set for November 23 in Brussels, fans across Europe are eagerly anticipating a night of worship and testimony. Meanwhile, his upcoming wedding to Sharon marks the beginning of a new personal journey, making this season of his life one of purpose and blessing.
