Daniel Kolenda: It's Time for the Church to Rekindle God's Fire

In a powerful message by Evangelist Daniel Kolenda through Daystar, he reminded Christians of the importance of living a life desperate for the glory of God the same way that Moses sought the presence of the Lord.

Kolenda pointed to Moses’ heartfelt prayer recorded in Scripture: “If Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here” (Ex. 33:15). Moses understood something the modern Church often forgets — that the Promised Land, the blessings, the breakthroughs and the success of ministry mean nothing without the manifest presence of God.

The essence of revival and true spiritual power is not programs, music styles, or large crowds, but the undeniable presence of God moving among His people.

Moses also questioned how anyone would recognize God’s people as distinct if His presence was not among them. “How will anyone know we are Yours unless Your presence goes with us?” This challenge still echoes today. Kolenda emphasized that what sets believers apart is not outward appearances or methods, but the reality of God’s presence flowing through the Church.

Central to this presence is the blood of Jesus, Kolenda explained. The blood is the bridge that allows believers to boldly approach God’s throne and experience His power. Kolenda declared, “It’s the blood of Jesus that sets people free.

It’s the blood of Jesus that heals the sick. It’s the blood of Jesus that raises the dead. It’s the blood of Jesus that drives out devils.” This is not merely theology but witnessed reality — the very foundation of every true miracle and conversion.

He challenged the Church to stop relying on flashy techniques, urging believers instead to return to the raw power of the cross. The blood of Jesus remains potent, capable of cleansing, delivering, healing and transforming lives. It is through the blood that the Church can experience the revival Moses longed for and that the world desperately needs.

Kolenda’s message serves as a reminder that revival begins in the house of God, and it begins with a desperate cry for His presence — just as Moses prayed centuries ago.

As the Church stands at a crossroads, Kolenda’s call is clear: we must refuse to settle for anything less than the full, fiery presence of God. Only then will the Church rise up in power, marked not by programs or personalities, but by the unmistakable glory of God’s presence shining like Moses’ radiant face.
